I understood the most of it, but I couldn't quite comprehend this part:

If something that entertains you is watching the news, maybe you aren't that ignorant, but I do know many kids my age who enjoy watching the news, and that's not the tabloids.

I didn't really know either.

But let me try to resay it.

I know a lot of people, cool and nerdy that think watching some of the news that appear on TV (whether it may be a presidential debate or the government trying to pass another dumb-ass law) is something that can keep them entertained in front of the TV for a while.

They would rather watch and learn what is happening to the nation or the world rather than watching someone fall and stab themselves in the crotch.

I hope that was more comprehensible, though I doubt it.

Seriously, I know some people who should go easy on anti-Americanism. Because you don't agree with Bush's policy doesn't mean everyone in the USA is a moron. Their education system may not be the best in the world, but trust me, I know many rich countries where it's certainly worse.

Well, i don't hate USA, but i'm getting sick of all those news we get here about unimportant stuff happening in USA. If someone farts in USA, we can read about it in the newspapers the next day. It's really annoying. But that doesn't mean USA doesn't have it's good sides. As an example, all my favourite movies comes from USA.

Nah, I'm trippin' balls. Most of the news here is about celebrities and their unimportant lives. Like how they have ANOTHER kid, or how long their nails are, or how they look at things, or all this other crapolla. But, that's mostly internet news.

But news on Politics IS important, whether you like it or not.

But we do hear alot of uninteresting stuff here. Oh, and the election isn't THAT important for people in Europe.
