Guess it's time to turn on my Wii U and download this app... IF I HAD ONE

The scores you guys manage to achieve are really impressive! Don't know how it's possible but they really are. Personally, I both think and hope that the challenge will relaunch once the full game is released. That way, the PS3 and 360 owners can join the fun while new modes can be included. I'll make sure buying a Wii U near the game's launch so I too can participate.

Keep those scores at a steady level. It would be impossible to get them ranks if everyone already are veterans by august, knowha m sayn'?

What I'm wonderis is, will the app's server continue to be up after the game's released? And will the app be compatible with the game so we can also play with people who have bought the game? Maybe that would be too much wishful thinking, and a money loss for Ubi...

I guess we got our reply for the Fiesta de los Muertos world. It seems we have new enemies, skeleton-alike. They kinda remind me the Stalfos from Zelda, except these are "cuter" and dressed for the party.

I like what I see. No, that's an understatement. I love it all! The new enemies. The level design. The atmosphere. The colours! The music!
And the little details, like how the sun gradually sets during the song. Simply amazing! :D

The servers will obviously still be there, just not available for the free app. The free app will stop working when the game is out. Maybe we can transfer the data from the app to the final game, but who knows, at that point we could have enough lums and awesomeness to unlock everything from the beginning... and that's not the point.
SWEET MOTHER OF GOD, IT'S AMAZING. I like how this time they actually were more affiliated to Mexican culture and the real Dia de los Muertos. Gourmand Land was too based on mexican stereotypes from the Looney Tunes era.

Uhm? those skeletons? they're just regular Muertos, lol. They're very used during the festivities to commemorate dead people. It's cute that they decided to add them on the game, they look a lot like the designs from Nickelodeon's El Tigre.

______

I'll be honest, this is the type of trailer that ubisoft needed for Rayman Legends. It's strong, it's colorful, it's recognizable and it's epic. If anyone is still trying to boycott the game, well, sucks for him, because he won't be able to play while everyone else does.

Eye of the Tiger is fuckin' amazing. And the whole world too. So, what level tropes do we have? Castle, beanstalk, Greek, creepy/LotLD, Julius Verne + James Bond, Mexican. Have I missed something?

EDIT: The level is called Mariachi Madness.

I know that, a Mexican friend told me about this back in November of this past year. They look cute.

Oh my.
Impressive, looks good, sounds good, plays good, Rayman Legends really is turning out to be Origin's Rayman 2.

In my opinion, Origins was just a resurrection of Rayman that was still on diapers since the dark era of the series. It started goofy, but charming, but it was still clearly a project that needed a lot more to make Rayman return to his fullest potential.

This game not only grabs the buttocks of the mainstream by pulling songs like Eye of the Tiger and Black Betty, it does it respectfully, and taking care of the beauty of Rayman's universe. This is fanservice for both the public in general and the original Rayman fans (since some of the design are loyal to Rayman 2's original artstyle). Rayman Legends seems to be a proper sequel to the series, with beautiful music, great atmosphere and improved characters (Rayman no longer being an idiot and the Bubble Dreamer no longer making fart jokes but being a true wise guy).

If I got addicted to just the Challenge mode, which features one of the most awesome and competitive online platformers I've ever seen, I can't wait to try the Kung Foot, or even the story mode, which features more unlockables and hidden cages than before!

Rayman Legends is, for sure, what Rayman Origins should have been. For what I've read from the interview, they're probably making a third installment in the Ubiart series.

A new song reveal for Legends? Awesome! I'm hoping they don't use in any form of extremely modern music since, I'm not a fan like Raving Rabbids did.

The RRR series also used famous musics that were not necessarily recent, like Rolling Stones for example. As long they don't remember in bringing Justin Bieber or One Direction...

True, but RRR still had it's fair share of few recent music, at it's time, but for the most part it did not, and Michael Jackson on RRR TV party was a great choice of music, despite the fact I hated TV party.

Oh god, pretty sure Michel is smart enough not to make a decision like that, at least I hope, he would never. XD
