< initially thought that they were a waste of money, but figured there couldn't be any harm in trying.
<'ll tell you... once you go solid-state, you don't go back.

< thinks, given the correct refinement, SSDs could one day succeed HDDs, though for the time being, < thinks they're best used as boot disks, and HDDs for storage.

Re: The You Game!
< was thinking of a mSATA-SSD. But < don't know if they are as fast as 2,5'' SSDs.
Re: The You Game!
It wouldn't really be a bad investiment for < since < has got three hard drives and one of them is exclusively used for the Operative System and to install normal programs, and < takes around 120GB with that same hard drive.
< would also like to have a very quick boot

Re: The You Game!
For all the rubbish < says about <'s laptop, < admits, it still boots up in decent time compared to some of the computers in <'s college, whose specs outrank <'s laptop.
< Probably won't be using an SSD in anything anytime soon.

From <'s research, Samsung has been doing the best job on this.emshomar wrote:< heard Intel or Crucial produce fast SSDs, but < is not really sure.

Yeah right, Samsung Pro modells. But < think they're way too expensive.
^That's really needless xD

Re: The You Game!
Apparently, PS3s are also compatible with SSDs, < wonders perhaps, if <'s laptop can make use of one, though < may be better off just replacing the laptop, when the time is right.

Re: The You Game!
< put a 40GB Intel SSD in <'s old laptop, and it made a day and night difference. Once was sluggish to smooth performance.

Re: The You Game!
Given the costs of an SSD, < would prefer to buy a new machine and then have an SSD boost that, given that <'s current machine is getting pretty old, and < would rather save as much as possible for a decent and powerful replacement.
Re: The You Game!
< would really like to draw Haruka and Sonic having a Birthday party but due to terrible and pathetic drawing skills can't since it would look disrespectful
< hopes somebody who has talent will draw that.
