Well there will be a kind of not really but still pretty cool spiritual successor to Kirby's Epic Yarn, called Yoshi's Woolly World. It looks like it'll be pretty fun.

In other news, I've been playing a heck of a lot of Rust since I bought it. I think the thing that really sells me on the concept is that there is no hand holding. It's like a breath of fresh air to be dropped into a world with no knowledge of what to do or where to go. It gives you full freedom and free reigns to do what you want to. Want to create an enormous and indestructible base? It'll take you a lot of hard work but it's possible. Want to be a bandit, roam the world holding people hostage and surprising them? You can do it. Maybe you want to be a merchant of sorts, selling specific goods in return for resources. It really is a case of creating your own fun and interacting with the world, and it's got me hooked.

I won't be able to play my Wii U for about a month and half while we're in transit to the new house. Sucks.

I just finished Outlast again and the Whistleblower DLC, and I don't think I gave it nearly enough credit my first time through. Sure, the story is kind of shit (though not in Whistleblower), but the atmosphere and level design are brilliant, the tension and scares are perfectly set up and perfectly done (Whistleblower, in particular, has some very unforgettable in the latter half of the game), and, overall, it does what it actually wants to do incredibly well.

Haha, yeah, haven't played it yet, but it looks pretty awesome to the point where I think it's safe to say that people (Rosseter) that are still being pessimistic about the finished product are being stupidly averse to change.

Just got Tales of Symphonia Chronicles on PS3, it's my first Tales game and I've heard a lot of good things about this one in particular.

This game. <3

It's my favourite JRPG of all. The story is breathtaking, the art and animation is beautiful, the soundtrack is prominent and memorable, the characters are timeless, and of course, it's incredibly fun, immersive and well-paced. It all comes together into one wonderful, unforgettable work of art.

I've gotten a little bit more than an hour into the game, and I agree, it's pretty fun. My only real problem so far is that the analog controls outside the battles seem a bit loose.

Yeah, that is something that's been improved in the later games. Though you get used to it quickly, sort of like Mario's weirdly touchy movement in Super Mario Sunshine, though the latter is obviously a bigger deal since it's a platformer.

I started playing Melee for a bit the other day too.

I was so rusty at it. For a bit, I couldn't even dash dance, let alone wave dash. D:

I'm tempted to just give in and buy Tales Of Symphonia, looks totally worth it and not too pricey for a Gamecube RPG. The funny thing is if I end up buying it for Gamecube I'll end up likely playing the game on Dolphin Emulator to get that full HD experience.

Anyways, I started playing Sonic Colors. I must saying it is an amazing game but I wish there would have been some Sonic Adventure like game play in there.

The episode expansions for Half-Life 2 feel a little too pricey for what's only about 6 - 10 hours together, so while I'm waiting on a sale to happen I've been focusing on Animal Crossing again, which has hugely grown on me now. New Leaf's more relaxing atmosphere is fantastic, I really hope they continue that sort of thing with future installments.
