I know she knew I was joking, no need to point out, Rayfist, lol.
Speaking about Rabbids... do you think the level featuring them will still be in the game? It hasn't been mentioned again, especially considering that the NFC system will not be used anymore.

My apoligies, just the "eh, thanks" quote made me think she misunderstood, that's all :p

Maybe yes, maybe not, but I believe it would be safer not including them. We don't want the past to repeat...

Rayman Legends could be like the next Duke Nukem forever if it got delayed for another 2 years- all of a sudden the game transforms into a party styled game completely- OH god that's a nightmare thought right there.

Yeah, but the implementation of Rabbids seemed good this time... The landscape is beautiful and kind of reminds me of what we've seen in the original trailer of the Rayman Raving Rabbids platformer, but during the fall season. Also, the design of the rabbids looks great with Ubiart, and the slapstick in the animation looks funny (when it usually doesn't in other Rabbids games). Forgetting about the rabbids would be safer... but think about it, Ubiart could save that little something that the Rabbids have lost from the Rayman universe since probably the second game. At least they did something decent with the GBA game. Here, differing with Spiraldoor, I still think the rabbids are canon, they probably started an awful era for Rayman, but they are canon, and I believe in Ubiart's hands to make something good with them.
...Also, doing something good like this for the Rabbids would benefit Ubisoft... the franchise is losing sales because the newest games suck.
UGH, and remember, a developer from Ubi once confirmed that Rayman and the Rabbids would meet once again. If that's the case, I hope it's in this format, and only during one level... I don't want later an entire party game featuring the Rabbids and a coward version of Rayman again.

I still say: I would rather to see the Rabbids with more investiment in the comic book industry than in the gaming industry. The comics are much more enjoyable, I can tell you. There's a third volume coming out day 14th June.

Who knows... maybe they took this situation in mind and they will turn the rabbids thing into dlc, so people who don't want the rabbids just don't buy the level/world.

I wouldn't mind a crossover, but on non-canon terms, the existence of the Rabbids and the Earth in the Rayverse doesn't agree with me, but the Rabbids themselves aren't a point of contention to me, I don't mind them at all.

As far as I'm concerned, yes.
The new extreme challenge is so hard! I can only manage to get a bronze cup!

I would agree with this people if the whole thing included toilet humour and took place in the earth. But... no... the level looks beautiful, and there's no signal of plungers, just rolling pins. And the Rabbids are just enemies, they don't even steal the spotlight.
It's like Michel Ancel finally got the chance to show what he originally intended to do with the Rabbids.
I don't know, most of you just look at it like an apocalyptic risk, I see it as an opportunity to fix a mistake.
Also, It's not like anything particular changes... I mean, at this point a lot of enemies are Rabbid-like and nobody has noticed.

Oh no a rabbid showed up for one second and most likely won't appear in the final game. My day is ruined.
No really, shush.

I'd have to say, no Rabbids for me. Not that I think that the events of the past would repeat if it were to happen, but simply Rayman has already defeated the Rabbids, they have left The Glade onto 'greener' pastures (or in this case, other planets to wreck havoc). The Rabbids have moved on and so has Rayman. Sure, Rayman never defeated them in a "proper" way, but having them come back to haunt the Glade again, even for a short period, is like beating a horse that is already dead, there is no purpose or reason for it to occur. But if the Rabbids must return, be so kind to make it the way it was supposed to be in the first place:
But without the whole Andre joining forces with Rayman sub-plot and remove this character who was supposed to be Rayman's girlfriend:

I agree with Teensieking, the rabbids- I don't want to see them again in a Rayman game, no I don't hate them- I think the direction of splitting the series apart was good, I just don't want more of those things in my Rayman world. If I want to play a RABBIDS game- I'll buy a Rabbids game. After all I loved RRR1, I wish there were another game that was as fun as that in the Rabbid series, and I also enjoyed RRR2 a bit. TV party though I despised.

I'm pretty sure that the original trailer showing the Rabbids was trying to put across the idea that they would be some sort of extra feature or bonus stage or whatever, but not anything that had to do with the story. For fuck's sake, they hinted to having the dude from Assassin's Creed the game.
