I started Wind Waker HD, it's a really solid game. I never realised how atmospheric and well designed it is.

Started playing Star Wars : Battlefront II on PC.

Jesus, you really need a pad for this game, at least for the space battles. Otherwise it is very hard to manipulate your f***ing starfighter! :pascontent:

Good on you! I personally like it far better than the Gamecube version, a lot of improvements like the sailing speed which made the sail segments a lot less tedious than usual.

Ah Wind Waker and Battlefront II, both solid games of the past, I still play the original Battlefront all the time.

I been playing Destiny a bit, pretty fun so far, but definitely more so when playing with a friend!

Battlefront II!!! To date one of my favourite big team-based objective-pushing games. I'd love to get into a massive party one time that has near to no AI and is populated simply by players. Now, Battlefront II is a game that I think would work extremely well as an MMO game.

It did, actually...I played it online just a little bit in the past, it was still popular two/three years after its release. I remember a game where I stood still against several players while capturing a point and being the only hope for my team...but I failed right at the end XD.

The issue is that the company stopped the online servers a few months ago, removing a great part of its interest for many players. But Steam didn't decrease the price as a consequence: it's still worth 10 € for them. What?

Perhaps a fan-dedicated server will launch at some point or other. That happened for Red Alert 2 too when that lost its official ones.

Or maybe Steam will launch its own after enough fans would have asked for it.

Played a bit of GTA IV on STEAM today in anticipation for GTA V, even though I know that game won't be out on PC for a while. I tried a pirated copy of DR3 and figured out that I need more ram and a better GPU for it to work so I'm starting to save up for that.

Currently trying to beat Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D with all the KONG letters. Also, trying to 100% Rayman Origins 3D.

Gotten back into Rayman 1. I finally beat Mr. Sax, but I have yet to pass Joe's place. Those damn fish and damn bullets keep screwing me over sideways.

Since I FINALLY got my Wii U pro controller I've been playing a lot of things with it, and I got to say, I like it a hell of a lot better than the gamepad for some games. Tekken Tag 2 for example is brilliant with it, I can't stress that enough.

I just played P.T at a friend's house and I have to say that was an amazing experience. It's so atmospheric and creepy, and it hardly ever relied on jumpscares. The only part that frustrated me a bit was the last part, where you have to wait for the clock to chime and walk 10 paces. We couldn't get that to work after the 10 paces bit and gave up after a bit, kinda disappointed as I would've liked to see the ending. It seems like it's going to be really good.

I took a little trip down memory lane today to remember some of the old games I used to be hooked on...
I remember a horrible addiction of mine, it took up so much time of my life, I played this game for maybe 5-6 years. This is Maplestory, I use to have a huge obsession with it and it was my favorite MMO of all time. I revisited it on youtube, trying to remember my adventures with it. It's fascinating to me, but I can see the reason why I quit, while I think the art style for the game is just gorgeous as fuck and the combat in battle was actually pretty fun/addictive, training to be a high level became a massive unfun hassle and they kept adding more and more updates just making shit confusing.

The ost for the game is just fucking breathtakingly awesome. It really is a shame the beautiful environments of the game and music are accompanied by really repetetive gameplay. Leveling up just once or twice could take up to a DAY sometime if you're around level 40. But man, even though it isn't that old, despite my odd disliking towards the gameplay, why the fuck is it that I want to revisit it? I don't understand but I get an odd sense of nostalgia/comfort when playing it. I have so many adventures and memories from that game it's massive, so many events over my lifetime while playing that game. I may try a privateserver to revisit for a bit one day but honestly for the most part it's better I stay away as the game was far too addictive, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but the gameplay took up way to much time of my life, but regardless, the art style I can't get over how beautiful and amazing some of the levels in the game looked.
Man... so many memories in that one little game...

It seems Maplestory 2 is on the horizon, and considering it'll be free 2 play, I'll give it a try, but it better have a lot less repetitive gameplay because honestly that shit was a major turn off for Maplestory for me. What made me keep playing was the sense of adventure you got, and it was a feeling that not many other games had on me. But I'm glad I stopped playing, my addiction to it was awful, however I wouldn't mind revisiting in the form of a private server where you can max out your level in a day, simply to admire the artwork and soundtrack, but I'm NEVER going back to the real thing, ever.

Sounds pretty similar to my feelings on RuneScape.

I've been playing Divinity: Original Sin. Mages are a danger to themselves and everyone around them, you can talk to animals, and you can have your 2 main characters get into arguments with each other.

It's a good game.

Similarly to me, though I know exactly why I don't play those games anymore and haven't revisited them for any more than five minutes.

The thing about Maplestory though is that the artwork still looks amazing in comparison to Runescape, I feel Runescape has aged quite poorly in comparison. Like I said though, Maplestory got far too repetitive for my tastes but everything else in the game was solid. I think if the 2D sprites and artwork were used for something less repetitive we could've expected something better probably.
