I wonder what Polokus would do with those clumsily long arms... Like, if you were scared of him, you could literall hide with your back against his and there's nothing he could do.

He could just dream someone to oblivion. I do wonder how he destroyed the pirates in the glade.

"Can pick up a boulder with relative ease, makes crushing rocks seem such a breeze"
Best line in any song

But... But he can lift a boulder!
He can lift a boulder with relative ease!
I believe that's worth skipping lanky for

You have no style, you have no grace, AND you have a funny face.

I just realised something: if the Cave of Bad Dreams really is an imaginary place that Rayman finds in his nightmares after Jano entrances him in the Marshes, how come there are Yellow Lums there? It could mean two things: either the Cave exists, or, a far more exciting and less ordinary answer - Rayman is gathering not only real Lums to gather enough Energy to restore the Heart of the World and beat the Pirates; he has to venture into his own mind to gather enough Energy to beat them, too.
Once he beats the monster of nightmares and conquers his flaws - apparently he struggles coping with greed -, he is ready to face the Pirate armies.
I'd like to think of Jano as a sort of Devil figure. He lures people in their thoughts and shows them their own worst world. Then he tempts them with their weaknesses to try and pursuade them to evil. In Rayman's case: gold.

That's a really interesting explanation. Though for me R2 Jano is more like the Hebrew Satan - a servant of God who tests the souls of the faithful.
I imagine those lums in CoBD are in fact real, and their presence in Rayman's psyche is an indication of his true nature - something external to Polokus' dreaming, perhaps a self-sufficient manifestation of the world itself. When you think about it, where is Rayman putting all those lums? Why, inside him, of course! He IS the Primordial Core!
The idea that's Rayman's flaw is greed makes me laugh way more than it should

I'd love to see that explored!

I like that. It fits more to what I had in mind but less to what I wrote down earlier.

I believe that in order to avoid confusion or to clarify things the Yellow Lums were removed from Rayman Revolution in the same level.

I thought they where removed because the level was not accessible a second time die to the nature of the hub world, and how they wouldn't be able to put a physical entrance to the CoBD, but maybe it was that too

Could very well just maintain the spiral door at the end of the Marshes, mind you.

I could see him having the flaw of sloth. After all, we do know he likes to sleep a lot.
