Yeah. Still my parents don't really have interest in my retro game collection so they won't sell it. They in fact help me build my collection

Don't think that eighteen is the free zone though, because unless you're technical about it, your parents still pretty much have complete control over you. The technical difference is that when you're a minor, your parents are allowed to punish you as they please against your will, but they aren't allowed to abandon you; when you're no longer a minor, it's now your choice whether you give in, but the agreement is that you must allow them to 'punish' you, else you no longer have a home.

I'm not sure if your dad is like that, but it's just something to take note of.

I'm not thinking its a free zone or anything, I'm actually stressed by that. But no, my dad nor my mom is like that, they wouldn't throw me out since its not what they wish to do but would rather help me.

My router and modem disconnect often. Quite annoying.

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't have anything to do but go to school and live on the laptop when not in schoo myself, I was just saying that it's not all that life has to offer.

Hm, I feel for you guys, I worried when it came to doing my Personal Statement because you had to mention things like hobbies and outside activities, and I don't really have much of either.

What a fail logic.

What if it was a cell phone you signed contract for? I am sure that would even be illegal to be sold even if you signed it as a 16 year old since it is signed that you own it.

My friend was sick of his father and when he tried to punish him when he turned 18 he was like: "fuck that" and he packed his stuff and left home forever.

I don't have a cell phone and don't wish to have one either. But I don't think they would go to the point of being illegal but they could sell my laptop and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Well when you purchased laptop, who signed contract? Or you bought it full price without signing contract?

I was unaware that one needed to sign a contract to buy a laptop.

Rereading that post, I think OCG meant if you were to obtain it then and there, and then pay back for it over time, essentially loaning it, methinks. I don't know if one has to sign for that.

Wal-Mart is also in Canada? I figured they had one of the other "Wal-Mart family" members. Although it doesn't really matter.

During my most recent visit to Britain I came across a supermarket named "ASDA: Part of the Wal-Mart Family". Since I have been milking jokes about this family relating to the Mafia. It seems the Brits are in more luck then us because ASDA makes the store a bit more appealing to look at:
