The problem with Game Grumps is that they're not supposed to be a regular playthrough channel, but a playthrough channel with silly humour and a lot of cock jokes. While some episodes nail that spot, some just fall flat in terms of comedy, or even anything interesting, as they just get bored of the game they're playing and then start talking about their boring personal lives.

Lately I think they've been making a lot of good content. Don't really care if they make any progress.

And this is why I think that, if you are only sticking with the same two cast members the whole time, the comedy should at least be somewhat scripted so it isn't just nonsense rambling with a couple good laughs once in a while. If it's not scripted, I'm very fond of the idea of having a good ten-person cast who are randomly paired up to do a playthrough for each game. That way you'll always be seeing the familiar faces you love, but in different combinations creating a very varied experience (mostly in every persons' clashing sense of humour), making every episode fresh. Those are just my two cents on how the show could be improved.

Well, we don't want this to be about Game Grumps. Bottom line, I'm hoping to see more stuff come out for RL's development.

I agree with the part of scripted humour (not with the randomly generated cast, that idea wouldn't work on Game Grumps at all). They need more intelligent humour and less improvisation. Some episodes end up being a total shame... like the Spice Girls episode. Oh, but they have been making pretty awesome playthrough recently, basically because they're playing a lot of old and weird PS2 games like Chulip, Chu Chu Rocket and most recently Mister Mosquito. Hilarious episodes. Kirby Air Ride is another excellent playthrough.
By the way..
Did you know that at this point they have received around 16 copies of Rayman Origins?
Why do they refuse to play the game? it fits with their goofy humour... hm

Why? I think it would work brilliantly.

Like Smosh Games? because they do that, and it freaking sucks. I don't know, people would receive it negatively, basically because Game Grumps fans are used to the bromantic friendship between Jon and Arin. It's fun to watch, despite some unfunny moments. Adding someone else and taking out... let's say, Arin, for just one episode, will obviously make a completely negative impact in the fanbase.
Your idea is something that could have sort-of worked if it was applied before it was created, but now that it has its months online, it's too familiar to be reworked.
...In my opinion.

Scripted humour, but same cast throughout: Yogscast.
Random humour, but mixed teams of the same 8+ people: Achievement Hunter/Rooster Teeth.
Both are great in their own respective ways (but that's coming from a fan of both).

Oh, yeah, there's great stuff from Roosterteeth! but at the same time there's stuff that is meh... Maybe because the people that I care about is not on certain episodes. Jon and Arin have both their respective fanbase, and they had it before the creation of Game Grumps. I don't know which other member would they add to the crew that is on their... uh "same level". I thought about Hotdiggedydemon, he once asked Arin to be a Game Grump, but I've seen him live, and he's annoying as fuck.

This is looking fantastic! Some photos were even posted for it on facebook:
And I can't believe seeing he's back!
Anyone else find that cool the game is giving you exclusive Assasins Creed costume for pre-order. Looks like I'll be getting that!

Holy cow, this looks awesome!
This looks even better than Sea of Serendipity and Moody Clouds together, at least in a first look.
And guess who's back: the Magician seems to have survived to the Moody Clouds explosion.

God knows what he'll be up to in this game, so looking forward to this.
And I usually dislike underwater themed levels, but THIS looks freaking phenomenal.
I'm so happy to see us Americans are finally getting SOMETHING good with a pre-order for a Rayman game, those costumes look cool.

I do like the Assassins Creed outfit PS3 preorders will receive, though let's see if they're available in the UK, if they're available under any retailer, it'd probably be GAME.
Blimey, Legends is looking better and better with each new trailer, and I have to say, the game looks consistently gorgeous.

It seems like a sort of kind of spy/undercover mission, possibly like something from Tomb Raider, I'm loving the style of it.

I agree, I also like the exclusive skins, especially the AC one. I wonder if these will be available as DLC for people who miss it.

I'm just glad I'm finally going to get SOMETHING with a pre-order, Rayman Origins gave me a game I already owned when I pre-ordered it, so this looks good.
