I'm not saying I told you this when you asked about submitting a sig but that's exactly what I did.

But because i'm nice: Maximum width : 750 px, Maximum height : 285 px, i.e. they can't be larger than this.

Images are literally made up of pixels, so it certainly does! What software did you use to make the signature? All image editing software at least has an option to measure via pixels, even if it isn't set to that by default (e.g. Photoshop).

Well don't use a word processor to edit images, use an image editor. OS X doesn't have one built-in, so I'd recommend downloading GIMP.
