Like I suspected, only the most meaningless questions were answered. ._.
Thanks, man!

We're having a lot of fun creating a platformer with the UbiArt Framework. There's something really natural and nostalgic about playing a platformer as a 2D side-scroller and the graphics are truly gorgeous. But who knows...?!
That "But who knows...?!" has made my day!

Good to know that Stacey's question was answered. But still, I'm much more excited to read the RPC interview at this moment.

Gulp... I didn't like the "who knows...?!"

It looks like we're not going to have a 3d rayman game for a loooong time, but maybe we'll have "Rayman Origins 2" or something like that...
It's very possible, since we haven't seen the appareance of characters like Clark or Razorbeard (yet).

I would love to see a return of Razorbeard.

A Rayman Origins 2? Wouldn't that be kinda silly eh? I mean the game is already a prequel. If they did a sequel it would be "a sequel to a prequel" :?

It isn't the RPC one, calm down.

The RPC interview must arrive soon.

Consider Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Also consider the allegedly upcoming sequels to X-Men: First Class. If you want some videogame examples, consider the Metal Gear Solid games Portable Ops and Peace Walker. Prequels get sequels all the time.

Yeah, the fact that it was posted on the Official Nintendo Magazine website rather than Pirate-Community is a bit of a give-away. So is the complete absence of questions that were asked in the PC thread, and the non-PC usernames right next to every question. Think before you panic...

I'm not sure though, I'd rather they continue the series forward after Origins, if they wish Origins to remain, I'd rather it be more of a side series like how MGS did Portable Ops and Peace Walker.

I would't mind another prequel, but surely not a Rayman Origins 2. They've been creative, and making another game using the same basic idea would seem like a rushed idea for a game. I'd prefer seeing a new 3D Rayman game with all new elements. Plus, i'd like to see what else Ancel could do with a game.

They could do a side-scrolling Rayman 4, but since R2 and 3 have been 3-D, I don't think it'd fit in there. Maybe they should make two Rayman realities? One the Glade of Dreams, the other The Valley? No, that would be a bit stupid. Would it?

With a Rayman Origins 2, the developers could take everything they had learned from the first game and build upon it. They could add any content that they didn’t have the time or money to include in the first game. It would almost certainly be bigger and better in every way. Think Abe’s Exoddus.

Splitting Rayman’s universe in two would be really unnecessary and confusing, especially now that they’ve put so much effort into blending the games together. The divide between the valley and the Glade was never a real one – just something that happened when they made some redesigns between 2D and 3D. Splitting the world would mean that the developers would be extremely limited in what they could and couldn’t do – for example, it would mean that they could never include Rayman 1 characters or enemies in a Rayman 2-style game. I’m glad they’ve thrown away the false distinction in favour of creative freedom.

If they make a RO 2, they should include level-making

No daily bubble today. Me feelz sad :(
Oh, and the big surprise? I think it's the redesign of the website:
http://raymanorigins.uk.ubi.com/

Also, apparently the box art changed for every country to the new one. Check the pre-order section.

Well, the site does look more aesthetically pleasing, but, where did all the info go?

Is it just me or does the site look unfinished? I mean, only the background, the dev blog button and the video widget are loading for me. Not even the video or any of the other links work.
