Wait, they update their games? Huh.

Yes, they do. As far as I'm aware, they have community forums where people can discuss their potential issues and a "wishlist" as well.

Ah right, I admit, I got a GoG copy off the internet to replace my useless disc copy, might be better if I just rebuy it proper off GoG then.

You won't regret it. I certainly didn't do.

Master wrote:Meh, in fairness, RR did have a few issues, despite being on superior hardware, the FPS could drop below 30 at times. And the game itself did have a few glitches and quirks that did sometimes detract from the experience, such as the music in levels only playing on the first visit.
This is why RR should have also been released on Xbox and Gamecube, very high chance we wouldn't see those framerate issues on those consoles.

It's only 5 bucks you have no reason not to. (Whole series can be bought for $9.98, well worth it)

I'm not entirely sure it's solely due to power, we know R2 DC ran perfectly well at 60 FPS. While it's true the RR is more detailed and such, I can't help but think that other factors might come into it.

Well, I have no doubt that RR's rendering is very inefficient. However, more power would still probably take care of the issue, even without actually tackling the issues at the core of the problem.

Hearing about how the Steam version was updated makes me curious about what changed. Pity that the only way to get it was to have preordered Origins, though, so I can't even buy it on Steam myself.

Yes I'm surprised R2 isn't on STEAM now. I was not one of the pre-order people since I already had it on PS3 and wanted to wait later until I get the PC version.

I do have that pre-order version, but tbh it's just the original one tossed there without any modifications at all. The GOG version is superior to it.

Nope, I said that the GOG!!! version was updated so it can use the Steam Overlay now. Read, please. xD

I do like how despite not really adding anything on the GoG version, they gave the icon a new fresh comfy look. Nice to have.

Not to mention those awesome full HD wallpapers made by them as a bonus!

So far I'm finding the dreamcast version very bug-free and well optimised, might be my favourite version

Right, bought the GoG version, nice to see that the 60fps is a little more stable.

I didn't want to start a whole new topic around this one, so I might as well just post it here.
A few years ago I found a full HQ .mp3 version of the track which was used in the trailer of Rayman Revolution.
Did anyone come across it on YouTube? I don't take any credit of the upload of course as I only did it for the sake of preserving it. I still have the original .mp3 file though, so if you want to add it to RayTunes I'll gladly give you guys a download link to it.

Right, got the GoG version of R2. Does the game periodically speed up for anyone else, or is that just on me?

It never happened to me.

It only happens with incorrect settings on Project 64 for me. Never PC version. Can you try to enable/disable vsync?
Something in graphics settings?
