Re: Rayman 3
I like CF and TLOTLD backgrounds they’re my favorites from Rayman 3. I also liked FC and LS backgrounds too
Re: Rayman 3
I'm also assuming that the cable I have for the PS2 is just really awful and I've ordered another one. Both of these are component 480p and you can see how awful the PS2 actually looks compared to Xbox. I'm assuming it's just a terrible cable especially judging by all the noise on the screen. But yeah the aspect thing is a kick in the nuts for me as I love the Xbox. The score numbers though are just extremely low resolution on GC and PS2 for whatever reason also as you can see in the PS2 pictures too.
I'm guessing it has to be just that cable though because the Xbox definitely looks so much nicer in those pictures apart from the broken aspect ratio.

Re: Rayman 3
At least I know one thing from playing Rayman 3 on the PC version that isn't just my computer's problem. Intel HD Graphics cards are so "GREAT"!!!
:lo:
Re: Rayman 3
Well I could try figure out a fix but then again I don't know if I want to spend that long on it

What did you do, if I may ask?
Re: Rayman 3
I just turned every single setting off and down but now I'm gonna find out which setting causes itThe Jonster wrote:What did you do, if I may ask?

Re: Rayman 3
Huh, Ok! Lemme know what happens with your findings
Re: Rayman 3
The problem is caused by hardware vertex processing. You just have to disable that. The Jonster wrote:Huh, Ok! Lemme know what happens with your findings

Re: Rayman 3
Hm, this reminds me of a fix I used way back then to solve the problem on an old computer I had. Ironically it said ENABLE vertex processing.Steo wrote:The problem is caused by hardware vertex processing. You just have to disable that. The Jonster wrote:Huh, Ok! No really it did!
Re: Rayman 3
Maybe it all just depends on the computers hardware. Mainly the GPU.

Re: Rayman 3
So it seems. Just wonder how many glitches are there in this game. Guess I should try finding them all
Re: Rayman 3
This is fudged up. On this PC you can jump to the door frame from the pig. I'm really feckin confused now
Edit: I mean the door on CF part 2. Something on this PC is causing xbox jump height.

Re: Rayman 3
I cannot make that jump on the PS2 version. I did it one time years ago, but I haven't been able to duplicate it since that time.
Re: Rayman 3
I'll try my PS2 tomorrow at both 50 and 60 Hz and see if I can possibly make it. It's much easier to make once the door is broken but that defeats the purpose I guess

Re: Rayman 3
Your discoveries are making me want to pick up the European versions of the games too
Re: Rayman 3
I tried that today on PS2. I tried for about 5 minutes at 60Hz and couldn't make it so I switched it to 50Hz and made it after less than 2 minutes trying itRay502 wrote:I cannot make that jump on the PS2 version. I did it one time years ago, but I haven't been able to duplicate it since that time.
It's probably just extremely hard to do at 60Hz.

Re: Rayman 3
Hmmm....there are some things that probably can't be done in NTSC versions without modifying that can be done on PAL versions.
Re: Rayman 3
I'm guessing the best chance of making the jumps like that on NTSC is to have the camera facing the other way towards the hoodlums so the game might lag a little bit, but then you can't really see where you're going. You'd probably have to align with the strafe button then turn the camera and run in the direction and hope. It seems like it would be very difficult though.
