Super Mario 3D World. Absolutely digging it so far.

Also, Ad, you're a lying fig if you say the music in this is bad.

I couldn't play Assassin's Creed: Black Flag for a while because of some weird crashing issue, but now that I'm continuing, I need to express how much I still love this game. It's the pirate experience every kid has ever dreamed of. The world is so huge, lush and colourful, the characters are unforgettable, I can never wait to see what happens next in the storyline, and the combat (both ship and on-foot) and setpieces are fun, fun, fun. It's so fun I feel exhilarated whenever I think of going to play it again. The modern-day portions are also interesting, I've rarely enjoyed reading game lore this much and traversing through what's basically an envisioning of the perfect game development studio, in addition to meeting all these amusing characters along the way.

Probably thanks to the combination of my free time and the winter sale on steam, I've been playing quite few games recently. I'll just quickly summarise my very early first impresion of each in a single sentence or two.

Team Fortress 2:
Shovel knight: Game I didn't care about when it first came out, now kinda wishing I had. It's good.
Guacamelee! Gold: Good Metroidvania game, definitely recommended to Metroid fans, my only complaint is a lack of Rayjuan skin on the workshop.
Starbound: Terraria but you actually know what the fuck your supposed to do without having to read a 2000 word essay on a wiki.
Left 4 Dead 2: ehh... didn't care much about it when I bought it last year, still really don't.
Sonic Generations: One of the best games Sonic team has ever made.
Freedom Planet: The best sonic game sonic team never made, and maybe even the best sonic game ever made period.
Sonic 4 episode 1: Meh
Sonic 4 episode 2: meh
Night's into Dreams: ... I don't know how I feel about this game.
Bridge Constructor: a game were its more fun to mess up than do good. also feels like an iphone game just lazily ported to pc, I hate that.
Strife: Veteran Edition: Fun game, although, it's not really an proper FPS RPG like advertised, more an FPS with some very light RPG elements, mostly dialogue options in fact.
Antichamber: meh
Epic Battle Fantasy 4: like classic Final Fantasy, but with humour. It's okay, you might want to play the free version on Kongregate if your not sure about paying for a flash game though.
Magicka: Press all the buttons! Really fun, until my laptop overheated while playing it.
Postal: An overlooked fairly dark and grim psychological horror with frantic shooting but has clunky control's.
Postal2: AKA biggest fucking change of tone between the original and the sequel, from psychological horror top down shooter to first person shooter with south park style humour, can be moderately funny, if you want an incredibly mean spirited first person saints row, you might enjoy Postal2, I thought it was fairly bland honestly.
Town of Salem: same old Mafia game, fun as hell, same old god awful player-base, annoying as hell.

I've taken it upon myself ( :P ) to replay the Rayman series. For the first time I decided to include the 24 "new levels" from Rayman Designer, which I got through today. Some of them I had never actually played before, due to lack of perseverance, so it was actually a somewhat fresh experience. And let me say, I was frustrated and satisfied in so many different ways today! Even when I got frustrated about not being able to find the exit after collecting all the Tings, I was sort of laughing at myself too.
Also, since I was using Rayman Optimum, I decided to replace the music for the first Candy Château level with an invasion one from Fiesta Run (the one based on Olympus Maximus) to get me in the Dark Rayman chase mood! :P

I was wanting to do that, but I couldn't remember what TRA files were. Aren't they just one common filetype renamed?

I just beated the MOH campaign, I can't really rate it good or bad, since this was based in real events, but I'm not sure if it's a REAL story, so..nevermind.
Oh, and the difficulty is a joke. Beated it on Hard, had like 4/5 problems, but I though it would be harder, and LONGER, but, well, that's all.
In another thing, MOH Frontline Remastered is super duper hard. That game really kills you, no checkpoints, no health regeneration, and the worst of all are the super slow Meele attacks. However, Tier 1 Mode is a good challenge to players, but it's not really good because of the timer, considering the longness of the levels.

The multiplayer really sucks, I don't like it in any point, also, you get striked from everywhere, which some players would consider good, but not really.
Why I hate it so much? Because it's WORSE than Ghosts', that's why. Now, if you detail something, the multiplayer was developed by the creators of Battlefield, well, what's wrong with it? First of all, I had problems with a game of DICE: Battlefield 1943. I couldn't even kill a guy in some cases, other leading to 16 deaths, I had so many problems with this game, I deleted it. When I tried the demo it was pretty cool, but then, it completely changed for me. Not in aspects, if not, me.
Now, I tried to have advantage of everything in the map, not rushing, rushing, sneaking, not sneaking, but still, no. Second: The MOH multiplayer hates you and everyone. Guess what, when you get to the level 15, you get a goddamn OP attachment, and that breaks the hole game, considering HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE the level 15. Later I have the problem of really fast-paced multiplayer, it's so fast-paced you just can't look down, you have to look no matter what the TV. The last complain I have is the so tiny health you have. In a lot of times you found yourself attacked by a guy, you can't go away, because when you get shot, you get marked, you're lost. What I say is that you get shot, you don't have time to react, because of the strikes everywhere, the tiny health, the OP attachment, it, it just blows my mind. It just so bad I don't want to try it anymore. However, in another point, I would like to buy Warfighter, the sequel, to try some luck. Well, it was a long thing, I know, but consider that I did not swear in any point. (God damn is minor, not like fuck, shit, etc.)

Well, that was my review about MOH.

I've tinkered a bit with "The Last Tinker: City of Colors" and it's pretty okay. Really wished I had a controller to play on my PC.
