yeh you also need to be VERY lucky.
also... some people are dicks
I've only been unlucky with people once, most times they either accept I want no trouble or are already in a fight.

I tried it again today and I cornered myself in a ruin, thinking I could stay there for the night, lol nope.

The only tips I can give is when you're near a town, get in get out! Make sure you always have more than one escape route out of a town. Try stay in open areas, if you see a graveyard don't go into the crypt- It's a death sentence! Make sure to sneak when near zombies at ALL TIMES (unless they see you, then run like hell) and remember that high vantage points can be your Savior. One time I found a big ass tree and I just hung out there until night passed. (i was low on drumsticks afterwards but better than being mauled by 100 zombies.)

EDIT: Going on EU3 now.

EDIT2: So I played on EU3 for a while, and I have a new tip: Try not to wander around at night. Find a shack on which to stand, or a tower to climb, just something that'll give you the edge over the zombies which is height. Random shacks along the road are your best bet, because there's always a route to the roof, and from there zombies can't hit you, but you can hit them for their flesh.

Servers are hosted on a computer and connected to a network which allows other computers to access it.

I made a double volcano. The inside is a recreation of the Nether.

The result of some random Google search wrote:Download the new snapshot minecraft.jar
Navigate to your .minecraft folder (On windows, you can find it by searching for %appdata%)
Put the new jar file in the bin folder.
OPTIONAL: Back up your old jar file.
Open Minecraft via the launcher, how you normally would.
I have no clue if this works, but this is what I found when searching on Google.

Perhaps a search of your own on Google will yield more integral results.

I can't view that link, my computer blocks it for being a pornography site.
But I love your house! It's seriously epic. :P

Is that the server I joined? Or is the one you and Serza are on a different one?

Schmooky please don't quote posts with large images/loads of images, especially when it's the one above your post.

I should know what the texture pack is but I can't mind the name, sure you could find it if you searched for Default Realism packs.

EDIT : @Ray, nice builds there, the exterior of the first is butt ugly though.

EDIT2: @Green, did they just go through with the new map shit? -.-

I think it's not a realism pack, but a "faithful" pack.

Strictly speaking it's a realism, or rather HD default :P

Either way I found the pack : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUEmSEXd4mM
