Hm, that's pretty decent, considering many have been rather meh on the 3DS version.

I personally think reviewers should not use scores, and should just go by words alone. People have huge misconceptions on what a good score is.
But it is a good sign - meanwhile, Sonic Retro is already being cynical and picky about the game. :V
What is a REALLY interesting sign though, is Nintendo themselves saying that Sonic Lost World is a killer app, and that the 3DS version may really boost sales of the 2DS, along with the likes of Pokémon - maybe this release date isn't a coincidence after all.
Also, the Wii U version of Lost World is number one on the Top Sellers chart on ShopTo, beating their sales of Pokémon X/Y. The 3DS version of Lost World is the 4th best seller.
Another interesting tidbit - the Wii U version of Lost World has a day one patch, that is about 46MB, and took Nintendo Life staff 5 minutes to install. No info on what it actually does, but maybe it's linked to the delay in the US somehow?
EDIT: They're not even being subtle anymore. Have "Sexual Innuendo the Character":

Going back to the Sonic movie topic. I just remembered Iizuka saying something at Sonic Boom 2013 during the Q&A about a Sonic movie. Here it is.

Remember, us Americans aren't getting the game for another 2 weeks. Please try to avoid posting spoilers, but I think you guys know better. Also, I'm guessing no demo was released today?

For Europeans. Americans have to wait until the 29th or so, I believe?
Anyway, I will post impressions and possibly screenshots. I'll avoid spoilers, and if I have something to share that is even just a minor spoiler, I'll post it in a link if it's a screenshot. If it's text, I'll figure something out, or just not post about it at all.

So since it is released, PLEASE rip the soundtrack. I wanna listen Zazz mini boss theme.
Also anything confirmed for 3DS dual audio?

Apparently, the game has no option to turn sound effects and voices off. So ripping the soundtrack might be a problem.

Also, is it possible to make a Japanese Nintendo Network account so I could download the demo?

I know Famitsu tends to be more harsh.
Famitsu is popular for being bought easily by companies just to give a good score. They gave Sonic Unleashed a better score than Metroid Prime.

Nope sadly, it depends on console region what list of countries is displayed. You can't even change language to Japanese in system settings which is bullshit since Microsoft and Sony include all languages for console in all regions.
EDIT: 3DS Gameplay:
It has voice options too in settings so it 100% means Japanese as well

Ah, ok then, I'll wait and see what other establishments and normal people have to say then.
IGN gave it a 58!? Fucking seriously? Even though they made a top 5 video as to why they were looking forward to it... wtf. This is the wii U version they're talking about, right? Not 3ds?
All of these reviews are terrible. Seriously, GameSpot said the game was "too hard".
Typical "professional" reviewer.
And then they had the nerve to say Mario Galaxy is better because it's easier. The first Mario Galazy was a good game, but it had a ton of problems, one being that it was too easy for it's own good, which led to it being repetitive.

I use IGN and Gamespot as a source of information and not for their reviews. It's too often that they contradict themselves or count off points just to nitpick. But still it's a let down that their hitting on this game so hard as they are the most commonly used places for reviews.
Also
Points taken off for going too slow
IGN
i just
i just don't know
what are you what do you want
Do they honestly have any fucking idea how many Sonic games have him move too fast? Well yeah, they complain about it all the time. Why... just... agh.
