As for the speedrun I'm pretty surprised by a number of things, such as that the game can be beaten without battling Mr Sax - that might be worth mentioning on the wiki. Didn't realise that a Sonic 3 style glitch (it was done in Bongo Hills I think) could be done either. I even chipped in when it finished, really impressed with what's been pulled off.

The Mr. Sax thing is known, and I believe the same is applied for Mr. Skops.

I watched the run live and it was pretty cool even though I didn't know what was hard or easy to execute.
The part where he was on the four rotating balls (I don't remember the name sorry) trying successfully to avoid spikes was impressive .

So I was playing Rayman 1 this morning when I noticed something strange by ending the intro cutscene at just the right moment. That's right, the magician does not have a head.
Seriously that's pretty creepy he is just a flying nose with hair.

I actually think the head is hidden in that blonde area on the top of the nose.

There was another piece of concept art posted on Rayman's Facebook page:

It's not really anything new, but I still like it.

Not new, but the presentation itself is new. We never saw the artwork before in sketch form.

I recently got my Rayman PS1 disk working on my PS2, but for some reason music doesn't play.
It plays on the map and menu, and once played in the first pevel after a bit of a wait, but for some reason it pretty much won't work at all, just sound effects...

Check the disc for scratches. Is it clean? Also, try enabling Diagnosis. It adjusts the laser to work better.

I could just let you use my copy which works without a flaw, but you’re too far from Slovakia.

That's not mentioned on the Wiki? Hell, Adsolution showed me that trick last Summer. (God that's a year ago already? Go figure.)

Rayman voice is even spookier seriously i didn't even know rayman had a voice until some months ago when i was playing rayman on the dsi he said HEY YOU I'M WAITING seriously that's a really manly voice for a kid

Oh yes when your on idle on the DS version Also he says YO YOU And coughs weirdly COUGH COUGH COUGH COUGH But the ds version is just a poor rip from the PC version but a downgrade because those sounds are on the PC version
Also the sounds Tarayzan The musician and joe say Arent in the DS

Rayman is not a kid, the Jimmy idea was scrapped thank god.

Also worth noticing is the massive new health bar.

Yeah what was up with the DSi port anyway? The music sounds too low, but the sound effects are so loud they disort, with the Magician going "TINGGZ PLEAZZ", the annoying snapshot from every checkpoint, and that Magician minigame with plum vines where the sound effects get so fucked that it sounds like the game is moaning.

I guess I did kinda like having looped tracks though. They should've had like 3-4 per area but I remember it getting really atmospheric with the Space Mama theme playing during the darker Picture City sections.
