I haven't even tried an IPG to be honest. The only glitches I've used are a few SJ's and getting to the higher level in CF part 2 before you're supposed to.

If you have a lot of room for improvement there, you should definitely try out the IPG in TOTL since it makes scoring in Part 2 a lot easier. Generally speaking though, you won't have to worry about IPGs until later on. You're always free to try them out, but you can get a total of over 900.000 without any, so it's not like you have to rely on them for a good Score

But you also have to be an absolute legend at the game to score that much :P

At the moment I have 641K with lots of room for improvement. I keep messing up SBTC and my BOM score is only like 48k. My SBTC is easy enough to beat because it's only like 37k :oops2:

My save file on my Dolphin was deleted so, the high score I had is gone. Back to the drawing board!
But I still remember all the combos i made so I might record some more too.

Hey feck you Attention Antitoon, you told us about that save file in every thread now and already told us weeks ago

My score is currently 651k which I think isn't too bad considering some of the scores :P

Well I did walk into that one. :P

But in all seriousness, SBTC for me was definitely easier for making combos than BOM. Some of the combos in BOM are really hard for me to do flawlessly, like the one requiring the LJ in BOM4.

Haha :P

Yeah BOM has some annoying ones tbh. On SBTC I just need to stop messing up on every single combo

Random Portal references on Rayman forums are all too rare these days. :hap:

You know the funny thing? I actually own Portal 1 and 2 on Steam and I didn't even know

I remember playing a flash portal game and having tonnes of fun with it so maybe I should play those games :P

When did you buy those? :o (Or did you get Portal when it was free like half the people who were on here at the time? :P)

I honestly can't remember

I think I might have gotten Portal 2 on a Humble Bundle at some stage and likely Portal when it was free as you said :P

Did anyone know that when you jump and send curved shots at Andre on The Fairy Council, that it doesn't kill the hoodlum? If you just keep jumping and hitting him, you keep hearing the hit sound but he survives every hit

Odd. I may have encountered that before. I'm sure there's a training/gameplay reason they programmed it like that, but I can't think what it could be. :?

Yeah it's not important, but I just thought it was a bit odd that it's programmed that way.

But a charged shot works even if you jump, right?

Actually no it doesn't and that's what makes it even more weird. That's how I figured out since I was going for the 3 Matuvu combo for hours and had to keep playing that part. The charged hit didn't kill him when I jumped and I was like what!?

I think it's protection to not let the player be in the air or to get the damage from the fall when the cutscene will be played. It would be interesting to check if the game crash when something like this happens.

But funny enough I did fall during the cutscene before that at one stage

The game teleports you to the vortex after that part though so maybe it does have something to do with that.

Yeah, if not even a charged shot works then they're obviously just trying to stop you messing with the cutscene! Funny how many other parts there are where you can do just that though. (Triple Razoff glitch anyone?)
