Whoops. I forgot the jumping eyes that appear in The Cave of Bad Dreams and The Sanctuary of Rock and Lava.

Thank you for producing the enemy FAQ, but please only use one post per message in the future.

This is very interesting, but how did you determine the enemies' health?

By counting how many un-charged non-golden fist shots they take, a normal shot does 1 damage, a charged/golden fist shot does 3 damage, and a charged golden fist shot does 6 damage.

You're forgetting that your shots become stronger as the game progresses anyway.

Holy Crap wrote:some of these are wrong. the pirates in the ps2 with napalm cannonballs and such are yellow, and there are orange pirates in the ps1 version that shoot massive fireballs. also, the green pirate doesn't only throw barrels in the ps1, they do it in the ps2 version as well. the lake creature is called eig, and the robo-hen is called a dinosaur, as said in the ps1 version.
Yes! And also, the ninja pirates in the Ps2 version can be killed. To do this, stand in a position near a small pit of lava and the pirate might fall in it when it appears. Make it fall in all three lava pits and it's dead. As for the generator, just defeat it normally.

I can produce a R3 enemy FAQ, and maybe we can link them together into one huge FAQ

Yes, and we could use that Rayman 1 enemy FAQ flyingrabids made, and link it to the other 2 to make a complete Rayman series enemy FAQ!

Right fellas, earlier I decided to try and get my Dreamcast copy of Rayman 2 to work again. I was glad to see that it actually boots first time round, and it seemed that it has miraculously risen from the dead. But that wasn't to last, as at some points playing the Fairy Glade, it crashes, and returns to the DC's main menu. Not sure why they do the rebooting thing, that's what killed my first console which my dad found in the attic today.
Though there is that other problem - the disc is really badly scratched. That said, my copy of Sonic Adventure runs perfectly and I've had and played it for the same amount of time, 8 years. I'm scared to take my consoles apart... D=
I was hoping to get to Globox village, and if I do, I'll try and get some [crappy digital camera] shots.

We should compare the strength of the three fist versions.

Oh...my...GOD
I just fixed my dead Dreamcast, and it runs
beautifully, so it`s not really to do with the Rayman 2 disc being scratched after all. I just went into the Globox village, and yeah, it's a bonus map with baby globoxes running around. I think the coloured ones appear as you get more crystals, so when I've for a moment or two I shall take advantage of the miracle that is the repair of my dreamcast.
Obviously I won't be able to get the downloadable minigames though.

I haven't heard of those. What are they?

What, the downloadables?
If I can recall, one of them was the purple lums game where you jump up a bunch of metal crates and collect the lums, one was where you slide around a huge arena, the other I can't remember. I had them all until I wiped my memory card.
