I prefer Hoodlums, but Robo-Pirates are also great enemies. They're what brought out the magic in both Rayman 2 and Rayman 3.

Not literally....

R4 prefer robo-pirates. Hoodlums are a bit too old school. They can't move as fast as the pirates, and their attacks are weaker and slower. When the pirates shoot, the 'bullet' comes flying in high speed. When the hoodlums shoot, the bullet moves slower than Rayman. He can just run away from them. + the robo-pirates are more badass!

I agree with R4 in that the Hoodlums attacks are less than perfect. All Hoodlums (with the exception of Heckler) are super easy to defeat. The pirates were more of a challenge, despite it only taking three shots to obliterate them.

hecklers aren't really that hard. not alone anyway, that part with 3 of them was pretty hard.

The lavomatrix are the most powerful hoodlums in the game. It can be hard to fight them without even getting hit once.

Well, apart from reflux, the horrible machine, the time when three hecklers appeared in one battle and proberly the hoodstomper.

They're not hard at all. What's hard is comboing one after Hoodstormers and gems. I meant the attacks were more of a challenge to avoid.

That depends what you mean with Hoodlum. Master Kaag could be categorised as a Hoodlum, and he's far more powerful than the Lavo's.
