But bleh what's your server Raytunes? May need to move to that one.
VanillaCraft (vanillacraft.net is the IP)
It's survival with different factions and PvP. The Blue Backline and Red Backline are normal survival with PvP, while the Blue Frontline, Red Frontline, and Barbarian Zone contains elements of more challenging PvP and looting chests. Here, let me sum it all up:
+ Public server - No whitelist
+ Straightforward. No complicated plug-ins, irritating messages popping up, or a ton of things you have to look trough
+ No griefing! A automatic system bans griefers (It is carefully put together). Only putting block place grief cannot be prevented, but a mod can take care of it.
+ A "Starting Zone", surrounding the spawn, where all the people that don't read rules get stuck in. A lot of "Noobs" stay in there, keeping all the ugly shacks out of the server landscape. This area has no PvP, but it resets twice per month, in order to get players to join a faction.
This is probably the best feature.
+ The option to go to an area with less PvP and be save from getting stolen - Nearly all players use this land, as do I. Backlines are the best.
+ /allow and /revoke commands which allow you to only let those you trust to break your blocks and open chests.
+ The bot that takes care of grief also bans players based upon continuous vulgar language and spam.
+ Amazing buildings - The frontlines both have outstanding entrances. R7K is probably one the biggest Minecraft projects ever.
+ Travel highways in the Nether
- People tend to camp the Nether spawn entrance and frontlines because PvP is turned on there.
- Chests are hidden so extremely well that those who take part of stealing factions barely get any treasure of it at all.
- A lot of people out there go to places while wearing Protection IV Diamond Armour. It can be avoided with practice, but sometimes it can get annoying.
- Glowstone is nearly extinct from the server, but there is rumour about a Nether reset.
| Moderators are not on 24/7. They are there to take care of any other issue that the bot cannot handle or track. I don't mind not having mods on all the time, but some of them out there seem to think that they're all robots.
| This server is surival. There is no TP. However, it does have a shrine system. Shrines are large, custom trees that be used to warp with. You receive one "Brownie Point" for every 10 minutes of playing. You need two hundred for a warp, but for every shrine you find (17 total) it gives one more point. If you donate this is reduced to only 50 points. It might seem complicated at first, but it isn't a needed feature when you first start.
| The End resets twice a month, like the Starting Zone, so more people have the opportunity to kill it. A public portal is located in the Blue Frontline.
| There are several towns to join (As far as I know, only in backlines). The most popular one out there would be mine...
The server bot will kick you if you break blocks from others, spam, etc. But if you have 24 hour playtime on it, it will only warn you for a lot of times before actually starting to kick you.
It's a fun server and one of the biggest out there. Voted #2 in the list of best Minecraft servers. Defenitely give it a go if you're interested.
