Yeah, I don't like region locking either. It doesn't effect me that much, but there is at least one game I can think of I want to import from Japan. Luckily, it's a PS3 game! :V

There are a few 3DS imports I would like but can't have them sadly.

I just find it completely pointless, especially since we are moving into an age of digital gaming, where a lot of people just download games. A lot of Wii U users seem to download games as opposed to buying physical copies.

I don't really like digital downloads unless it is on PC. Physical copies FTW
Sadly, I have a feeling that in future, gaming will become digital exclusive.

I prefer physical copies myself, though I don't mind downloading games either.
And I don't think gaming will become digital only any time soon. Remember, having a shop to display a game's physical box counts as advertising. I don't think publishers would be too keen on doing away with that.

Sorry for the double post, but here's something I noticed that's probably going to stir up a ruckus! :V

I learnt a few days ago that BGAMER, the portuguese gaming magazine I ocasionally read, is doing a contest where we can win a copy of Super Mario 3D World for Wii U. All we have to do is to make an original drawing about the game and where the magazine also appears. I already have got an idea so I will participate.

Ah, saddens me that we won't see any Rare characters in Super Smash Bros. Microsoft seems to fancy destroying everything they touch.

As long as Reggie makes it in...
Actually, I'm still waiting on Professor Layton to be announced.

Banjo-Kazooie started on the Nintendo 64 and had two games, after that Microsoft bought Rare and raped them in the ass. Before Zero there was Perfect Dark which stars Joanna, also a Nintendo 64 game created by Rare, also ass raped by Microsoft. Both now have shitty games, but would have excellent games and be included in Super Smash Bros if Rare were to have never been
kidnapped raped "bought".

I've never really understood the extreme love for Rare. Not that their games are bad but I don't feel like, with the exception of Conker, they've done anything beyond amazing either. Solid games but like Ad said Banjo Kazooie doesn't have anything that makes it really stand out and the happy-go-lucky feel doesn't do it for me. Banjo could have evolved into one of Ninty's big franchises, though

And as I said before, try Banjo-Tooie. Seriously, it's the Majora's Mask of kid-friendly platformers. :V
And honestly, I think Banjo-Kazooie is amazing. It's wonderfully explorable, there is a lot of subtle adult humour and smart wit, sound direction is amazing, and it's got a brilliant sense of atmosphere.

Games were still very fun even if some were typical platformers thats why people love them.

Banjo-Kazooie is quite possibly one of the most charming video games in history. Perfect soundtrack, witty dialogue, addictive gameplay and a good amount of exploration. What if I said Crash doesn't have anything that makes it really stand out, I'm sure everyone on this site would oppose.
