Is MEGA the best place for downloading files? Dont think soAdsolution wrote:I hate MEGA, web-based downloaders are annoying because you have to keep them open, I'd much rather have as few tabs open as possible and trust FireFox to do its job rather than keep tabbing to check my progress.OldClassicGamer wrote:MEGA is the best place for uploading files just so you know.
Mediafire it's the best uploard siteThe Squishy Potatoe wrote: Please upload the files on a diffirent site than mega!
Yes, finally! Someone gets it!GeekOfTheGame wrote:Mediafire it's the best uploard siteThe Squishy Potatoe wrote: Please upload the files on a diffirent site than mega!
Mac doesn't suck. OS X is more stable than Windows.OldClassicGamer wrote:Previous versions worked on Mac so I suppose Optimum on Mac is possible, but Mac sucks as an OS anyways.
I know. I'll just keep using a Mac because I like Apple.Raymanni wrote:Linux beats all.
Aye, MediaFire kicks ass.The Squishy Potatoe wrote:Yes, finally! Someone gets it!GeekOfTheGame wrote:Mediafire it's the best uploard siteThe Squishy Potatoe wrote: Please upload the files on a diffirent site than mega!
Actually, by definition, it isn't. Sure, on the provided hardware it is, but having had to maintain two Hackintosh installations over the past year and then finally giving up, I can say that OS X is extremely volatile. One could make the argument that if it wasn't designed for non-specific hardware then you can't make that accusation, but you can when Windows happens to be easily as stable as OS X on the hardware it was built on.Fifo wrote:OS X is more stable than Windows.
It is. I had several (3) BSODs on Windows. I haven't encountered any kernel panics on my Mac.Adsolution wrote:Actually, by definition, it isn't.Fifo wrote:OS X is more stable than Windows.

There's my bloated and somewhat unnecessary reply on the stability of OS X, stupid analogy included.
If it gets uploaded there, I would appreciate if MEGA link still stays because MediaFire is horrible for me. It takes ages to download and speed is slow. 20MB file took about 30 minutes. It is weird because all other sharing sites are normal for me.Adsolution wrote:Emshomar, if you're persuaded, if you like, I can upload it to my MediaFire Pro account which allows for files up to 20 GB in size, no download speed cap, and direct download links.
Don't blame Windows for that, that was most likely your problem.Fifo wrote:It is. I had several (3) BSODs on Windows. I haven't encountered any kernel panics on my Mac.Adsolution wrote:Actually, by definition, it isn't.Fifo wrote:OS X is more stable than Windows.

Mac it's not best of windows...Fifo wrote:Mac doesn't suck. OS X is more stable than Windows.OldClassicGamer wrote:Previous versions worked on Mac so I suppose Optimum on Mac is possible, but Mac sucks as an OS anyways.
I'm using OS X for iOS development (Xcode isn't for Windows).Master wrote:Hmm, if you don't mind my asking, what exactly do you use OSX for anyways? It seems to me that you use it as any ordinary PC, and not for anything along the lines of what I'd expect Ad to be doing.

Because personal preference?Fifo wrote:Mac doesn't suck. OS X is more stable than Windows.
Does it really matter that much, though? Mega works fine for pretty much everyone (save a few people), and it's much easier for emshomar (and others) to upload on, since he has his own account for it, and doesn't have to pay the extra cash for a MediaFire account. But, eh, I suppose backup mirrors would be fine, though.Adsolution wrote:Aye, MediaFire kicks ass.The Squishy Potatoe wrote:Yes, finally! Emshomar, if you're persuaded, if you like, I can upload it to my MediaFire Pro account which allows for files up to 20 GB in size, no download speed cap, and direct download links.

You didn't read my post. Need I clarify that I just said that there is advanced priority and no download cap for Pro uploads?OldClassicGamer wrote:If it gets uploaded there, I would appreciate if MEGA link still stays because MediaFire is horrible for me. 'Save for a few people' seems to have been three people in this thread already.technology4617 wrote:Does it really matter that much, though?
