Rayman 3 is the easiest of the lot assuming you don't care about scoring.

I didn't really mean it that way, it was more of a lament on the general state of the HD versions.

I never experienced that particular glitch on the HD remaster or the original versions, though I only played through the HD version once just to say I played it. So maybe it happens by chance, but I played the PS2 version a lot of times and that glitch never happened to me.

I had it happen to me despite only playing it on PS2 a few times. It's just random.

What a shame, the scores were so legit

I wish I could get a maximum 32 bit integer value as a score too.

I can think of three reasons:
1) there isn't a lot of unused content, and what was there has already been found (https://tcrf.net/Rayman_3_(GameCube))
2) the files are compressed in such a way that it's hard to examine them
3) there simply isn't much interest in finding unused stuff in Rayman 3.

If you want to try and find weird stuff in Rayman 3 though, go ahead! I know for a fact it's incredibly tough without the correct tool, but such findings require a lot of patience and a lot of luck.

I think the most eyebrow-raising unused content that's been found in Rayman 3 was the music from Edward Scissorhands, which was not licensed for inclusion in the game!

It may not be on TCRF, but it's always been on RayTunes:

I've never actually used TCRF to be honest and yeah the fact that it's on RayTunes is enough for me. I still think it's always cool to find out the games had unused content that can lead to "conspiracy theories" :P

Well, it's fun to speculate that they may have planned to license the song at some point during development, but I think it's more likely that they just used it in mockups of FC, and as inspiration for the final music. Mistakes happen, so it's easily believable that they forgot to delete the file when they were finished with it.

When I'm going through the games in order starting from Rayman 1 and then I get to Rayman 3, I'll just play through it for the fun of it without even thinking about scoring.

If course I eventually want to get back to that too since I at least feel like I could have managed 100k on HH.

Self explanatory then

Also there's that possibility again that Bandicam could be interfering with it. The real console would never do that unless maybe the disc was badly damaged and even then, highly unlikely.
Actually, this can happen on console, and with any version of Rayman 3. By holding Up or Left on the analog stick at the start of the level, Rayman will be able to move for a frame. By doing this, he will touch a glitched wall which will teleport Rayman out-of-bounds, triggering the message (the game quickly snaps Rayman back in bounds, however).
I finally got around to playing Rayman 3 again and I just wanted to say this happens on Xbox. On Hoodlum Headquarters "Stage 4 - The Hall of the Horrible Machine", if I hold forward on the analog stick as I load the save, it triggers the message.

I was wrong and I'm eating my words :P
