Another Composer is Billy Martin, he did the RO version of the tetris theme.

According to christophe he did also some tracks of the Hunter DB.
I think its the theme when you click on the picture on the top.

The western-theme from the "around the world trailer" will be in the land of dead and on the soundtrack. Christope made it.
(informations form his FB page).

Found some new gameplay. It was captured on a Dutch video game convention. Shows of some single player gameplay of a dude that really sucks. (That or the game is f*cking hard)

I LOVE that song in the background of the room... also someone called Altaïr Ezio. :pfff:

Anyway, the level really compliments the game. I'm more hyped than ever!

I know because he's my "friend" there.
He said that because someone asked him if the CD in the C.E. was going to have all the tracks from the game. The obvious answer is no.
Hmm. I'm not too sure what to think about the RayTunes thing anymore. It seems like they're deliberately leaving out tracks from the game to include extra tracks that aren't in the game, making the Collector's Edition worth buying. The soundtrack won't be complete, so maybe should I post it on RayTunes after all? Would we get trouble? Any thoughts?
The CD will contain just extra musics only?

In that case I think the normal soundtrack needs to be uploaded in RayTunes. I want the tetris and the jungle music so badly.

If that's the case, then I may attempt to rip them before Drollie.

The videos look great and all, but looks can be deceiving, so now there are a few people who've played the game, and they all praised it greatly. Rockhampton eh? Sounds like a cool place to be. Me and my family were actually planning of going to Gold Coast in December/January for a holiday, central coast is total flatsville.
I wouldn't get too excited just yet - I'm only one guy, so your mileage may vary. What I will say is that I felt as if I slipped right into it, as if I'd played the game before. I think that might be a good indicator as to how the controls are; they felt totally familiar almost straight away.

As for Rockhampton, it's a bit small-town, but I like it. I'd definitely check out Brisbane though (the city areas specifically) if you're up at the Gold Coast, it's a really nice area with lots to see and do.

I wouldn't be too hard on him, conventions are an awful environment to be playing something like RO in. Too much noise and distraction, especially where precise platforming and timing is concerned ;)

My friend who works for Gamestation in the UK has played the game and he said pretty much the same thing as you, i.e that it's very easy to slip into the game and that the controls are excellent. He basically said that anyone who has played Rayman 1 will feel right at home.

I did have my doubts at first, but after seeing all the clips and reviews I am now totally convinced that this game is the spiritual follow-up to the first game that Ubisoft never originally made :D
RayTunes wrote:I wonder what Raymans future is. In the Nintendo Power interview they stated that they find 2D very entertaining and seem a lot more vague about making a 3D Rayman game.
Well, the next logical move would be to create a 2D game that explores what happened between the first and second games. Perhaps they could tell us why 95% of the characters and environments from the first game were seemingly gone in the second...

Or they could just finish the 2D version of Rayman 2.

Really? I've completed Rayman 1 five or six times over...

Completing Rayman 1 would be the achievement of a lifetime for me, though I breezed past the many different versions of Rayman 2, Rayman 3, I think, is the easiest Rayman game, when one does not count the scoring system.

EDIT: You triple posted there.

I hope not. We don’t want to get into a situation where every single moment of Rayman’s life is chronicled in-depth. We need a certain amount of room to let the story breathe. Currently I have no problem accepting R2 as a sequel to R1; Origins has made it clear that they take place in the same world, just different areas. But if you try to link every single game strongly and tie up all the loose ends and errors, something’s got to give. The whole continuity will collapse under the weight of its own convolutions. This happens to comic books all the time, and it’s something the Rayman games should try to avoid.

I’m happy with the vague, impervious continuity we have now. One prequel to form the singular backstory of the entire series is enough for me. If Ubisoft start to pack prequels and inter-quels into every available chronological space, that’s when I’ll start to worry. I’d like a proper Rayman 4 instead.

Yeah, Empik.com has it for PS3 and Xbox 360 (Collector Editions too), but damn it, not the Wii. So I have to look more.

The Wii version won't have the C.E..

I can't find any portuguese on-line store with the pre-order available.
