I don't know if this was already discovered but I think it's a Purple Lum at 1:03 (behind the Hoodlums).

I think it just looks like a purple flame. Probably this:

Or this:

Most likely the first one.

I take a screenshot and it's apparently a Purple Lum.

I get what you're saying here, it does look a little bit like a purple lum, but the pattern to me doesn't really match(i.e. no eyes?). I think it's just a wall marking or another purple flame from far off like Steo said. Still pretty interesting theory though! :)

I know what you mean but it's not a purple Lum. Those things you see that look like wings aren't even moving, so it's just a flame on the wall to me by the looks of it.

Maybe the wings aren't moving because they were never actually animated ? Or I'm just crazy and see Purple Lum everywhere.

Haha. It does look a bit like one, but I just don't think it is myself by looking at it. It's always open to more speculation though :)

Whoah that actually does look like a purple lum, nice find!
I think it could be a purple lum since a lot of the Early development of Rayman 3 is still shrouded in mistery there are a lot of things we don't know about.

Upon further examination, If you look at that image you shared then this one (albeit bad quality) you can see that it's clearly out away from the wall by comparing the 2 pictures and looking at it's placement. I guess the plot thickens as they say.

EDIT: In a way it looks like an anchor with a chain containing a little brazier, but it's hard to tell with the trailer being from so long ago that the quality isn't great.
EDIT2: Here's what I mean. I highlighted what I think is the bracket in white:
Untitled1.png
But it's confusing as when it gets to about 1:05 it looks like it's not on the wall.

Does anyone know if it was ever confirmed about Ziggy Marley voicing Reflux?

So I was looking through some of my old discs and I was able to find my old physical copies of Rayman 2 and Rayman 3, and I kinda wanted to ask, but does anyone else who has a physical copy of Rayman 3 have discs like the ones I have in this picture? I always thought it was curious if the game took up that much space that it would require 3 discs.

These are CD-R discs that only hold 700MB each, meaning that's 2.1GB in total with 3 discs. Sounds about right. :)

Oh, ok. I found it curious because the last time I used the discs (was probably 10 years or so ago), I found that I only needed to load one disc and the whole game would run without me needing to switch, which made me very confused since I thought I needed all 3 to run the game fully, since I always needed the 3 to install the game in the first place. Unfortunately I don’t remember the aspects of either computer except that they were both Win7 and cuz it was so long ago and my dad already got rid of them.

That's usually how those games worked where you had to insert the next disc during the install, but then you would only need one to play the game as it would need to verify the CD. The game itself would be installed on your HDD though.

I remember sometimes during the game it would randomly ask me to please insert CD 2 or CD 3. With my propensity for damaging and losing CDs, I eventually had to re-buy the game on eBay, this time the DVD version so there was only one to keep track of! Of course, now I have it on GoG, which is even better!

The same thing happened for me, and it was always at the same specific times, I know at least one was in a doctor’s cutscene. The GOG version definitely makes things easier for me, for more than one reason. Still, I like to keep my physical copies for both my collection and nostalgia. :proud:

Well you're hardly going to throw them out, that wouldn't make very much sense! :fou:

I was debating as to whether I should get physical copies of the games for PC myself, but there's probably no point since I already own them all digitally and more than once at that. :P
