I'm still playing that on the Wii. And lemme tell ya, it does not disappoint.

I recently played a few rounds of Rayman Arena with my bro.

Hey kittymus, s'been a while since I've seen you hop on here. How's things?

I'm almost done with DKC2 now, that bramble level before the final boss is some kaizo level bullshit. I don't wanna use the saving system that didn't originally come with the game, but I needed seven tries on just making a tricky jump.

Ah, Donkey Kong Country 2 will always be my favorite of the trilogy, my favorite track right here:

Yep! I'm really enjoying it so far! I'm pretty far away from beating that game, but Juju just got his stupid ass captured.

Yeah that whole world outshines the rest imo, it's also the most visually stunning on top of the music.

Think I'll take a break from the DKC series for now, get back to it after some more casual gaming because the difficulty is taking months of my life.

Nice Fifo, I'm still really close to finishing VII but college work is preventing me from doing so, I do plan to buy 8 for PS1 afterwards.

Dragon Quest 5, the DS version. Man oh man I just love this game, it's like a warming cup of cocoa.

Ah man, I really need to play DQ. I watched my girlfriend play through nearly all of DQ 8, it looks pretty damn great.

I tend to find Final Fantasy thinks its stories are deeper and more interesting than they actually are. Dragon Quest never takes itself too seriously while still being earnest, which makes the serious moments all the more heartrending. Fantastic localisation and art direction too. Soooo, yeah, I'm glad I'm playing this one again  inspired in part by my discussion with you, Rayf.

I dropped into Runescape on my original account, it's changed a lot in my absence. I might do a bit of a refresher run in the summer, but for now, I'm glad I've got my account back. Though they seem to have added a "Legacy Mode," which makes it behave more like the RS I knew, I'm probably going to stick with that.

Decided to jump into Old School RS, it's been years since I've been in Tutorial Island. Nice place indeed, pity they got rid of it in mainstream. Old School itself is familiar territory, though they don't have the resizeable option, which makes things a little cramped in playing with ye olde constrained window. I wouldn't also mind them adding the High Detail mode they added back then as well.

Heh Runescape, I think my experiences can compare with you only with Maple Story. My brother was a huge Runescape player, that was his addiction while mine was Maple Story. Unfortunately I quit playing MMO's altogether because well... they got really repetitive. Maple Story especially was very grind-ish a lot of the time. However I still do love the artwork on MS. Unfortunately Runescape has not aged well imo. I don't know why I could just never get into it, something about the whole style of it just was totally unappealing to me.

Anyways, played a bit of Smash 4 with my brother and it was surprisingly fun. I think I've discussed here, my brother never really plays videogames anymore but he has a lot of fond memories of Melee so for the first time in fucking years we played Smash 4 and it was pretty enjoyable, he's already decently getting the hang of the mechanics.

Been playing a whole lot of Smash Bros. ever since Mewtwo arrived. If I keep it up, maybe Sakurai will feel my influence and put Rayman in. It's worked countless of times with little to lots of consequences.

It works most of the time. It just kills dozens of penguins in the process for some reason. Sakurai didn't do such a good job explaining when he crawled into my room that one night.
