So amidst all this arguing and ranting, why not discuss Legends:
- Who's your favourite character?
- What world do you anticipate most?
- What do you think of the artstyle change Origins>Legends?
[*] Difficult question. Every character has a very interesting design. The Grand Minimus' colour scheme is amazing in this game, but also Globolk looks really cool.
The Magician has a great evil look on his face, and his silly evil laugh was hilarious, but I still can't name him my favorite. Murfy is cute at his best, the way how he yells at Rayman to wake him up,how he slaps the gang, the happy noises that he makes while he flies... UUUH, his active, caring and joyful personality here is a lot better than his personality in Rayman 3, I love that little green bastard. Rayman also has been improved... he still looks like he suffers from anxiety when he's standing still, but he's no longer depicted as an idiot, just a badass hero. Sure, he still sleeps a lot, but it's something that we were going through since Rayman 1.
Again, I can't still choose my favourite character. In terms of design I'm probably going for the Tarrayzan-like guy. He looks awesome too, and that hoodie made from a dead animal is a nice touch.
[*] People are gonna hate me for this one. The Rabbids level.
Sure, Rabbids ruined Rayman for a while, but they came up as a quite interesting (and accidental) project. The initial presentation of RRR was great and full of action instead of cheap party games, and I had a similar feeling when I saw them in the Rayman Legends footage. I don't want them as part of the story, but just as part of an extra level. I want to see what Michel Ancel can do to restore what he wanted to do in RRR a.k.a "Alternative Rayman 4". I still have hopes, because we all know that it is likely that the level was scrapped.
[*] It's a very positive change. The original is a cute allegory to 90's cartoons. The artstyle was pretty, and the character design was quite ingenious.
This one is a lot better, because it appeals to anyone. Those who said that Rayman Origins looked like a flash game can't complain now, because the lack of outlines gives a more three dimentional and clean feel. The ilumination, the improved background design, the colours, everything is better, even the music. Also, have you seen those new enemies? the enemies in Rayman Origins were designed to look goofy and clumsy. In Rayman Legends they are giant evil musculous monsters and ugly creatures. It's awesome.

[*]Why did you choose PS3/XBOX 360/Wii U/ Version for preorder?
*Wii U... because Rayman Legends was supposed to appear in that console first. At least I got some exclusive features, and AC Barbara still looks kinda cool.
