By the way, just wanted to say I loved that last video so much that I watched it like 5 times in a row and I stopped only because I felt stupid. Omg the game's looking so good right now

This is moreso just an asset/environment test area, so it's not really a part of any level, nor does it have any real level design.
Very cool :D! There's something odd in the start of the jump but this might be perspective fooling me.

...This is why I hate focusing on highschool...
But seriously, I must've missed MANY THINGS (again), so I'm just gonna read as soon as I get some holidays. *sigh* I need to bookmark this page, but I'm super glad this is still goin'!
I'm probably goin' to wander around teh site a bit too... New stuff have appeared, it seems!

What about humour and jokes from Rayman 3? As for me, these made the game really fun to play! Are you going to make something like that or you'll rather stick with severity and seriousness from Rayman 2?

Rayman 2 had some tidbits of comedy relief at times, though not to the extent of Rayman 3. Both were great, but I'd prefer rather a mix of the two, R3 went a little too much with the comedy while R2 was very little on it. This isn't a bad thing in either case- it just wouldn't hurt to try something new.
Welcome to the forums btw.

Adsolution, I love you for sticking to this project for so long. Most people would have given up on the taxing commitment of creating a 3D platformer from scratch. But the game looks amazing, even better than I remember it, and I can't fucking wait to play it.

Well it's definitely been a learning experience, and the learning doesn't stop - I just started taking up C++ a few days ago so I can finally move away from visual flowgraph prototyping, and I'm loving it. Within the first three hours I made this calculator.

Thanks everyone.

But then I'd have less time to work on ROTD!

Ad, stop being stubborn and get a job at Ubisoft. You'll have all the time in the world to develop Assassin's Creed and Just Dance 2012.

Lookit dem killer nenuphar friends.
Just loving the environments, the level of detail is always impressive. And it's nice to see those assets in the light!

We need to buy Ly a drink. She needs to loosen up a bit.

The odd pose was a result of me taking the screenshot during a forward-sway in the idle animation. Not quite ideal, but as you can see, I didn't even bother to crop out the viewport from the engine window.

Oh? She has an idle animation now? I seem to remember her only having a T-pose and walking anims.

Interested in seeing what you'll come up with now you've decided to finally join the programming crew! ;D
Hey and if I start tackling C++, maybe we can help each other out on our respective games, no?
