I've finished Rayman 2 Forever recently, and wow.. is so strange.. I mean, you only fight against 2 Robo-pirates in the entire game, and one of them is the final boss... when in the previous scenes they say: "Destroy Razorbeard and victory will be complete." and you fight a Henchman 800.
My favorite version is the PS2 version (revolution), although it has lots of bugs, it's the more complete for me.

Rayman 2 Forever?!
(looks it up on Google)
And it exists! xD
Seriously though, that's the first time I ever heard about this game.

Do you know where can I get the song of the intro of Rayman 2 N64? I started to play this version the first time 2 hours ago and in the intro (where Ly is speaking to Rayman) I've heard like a medley of all the songs of Rayman 2 (I think this doesn't sound in the other versions).
Oh thank you very much, also, is it me or the songs of N64 aren't uploaded to be heard in the web?

They're not, it's a ZIP archive there, Droolie's the person to inquire about that sort of thing.

The game is a bit obscure but it does exists. It was worse than the R1 GBC port both in gameplay and in the artworks. The final boss is an Henchman, why?!

I experimented a weird glitch in the N64 version, I was "fighting" against Jano, when he jumped to another platform.. he fell off and suicided.. xD
I had to restart because I needed the skull platforms to get to the end.
Btw, I like so much the N64 version, the music and sounds are so diferent and nice.

Ehh, I never experienced the N64 version as a kid, I've always been accustomed to the CD soundtrack as opposed to the MIDI one.

That one's well known, I think you have to wait for him to finish his jump before you finish climbing the ladder on one of the platforms.

So I found this trailer on YouTube:
(doesn't seem to work when embedded)
And there's a lot that doesn't look familiar. First off, I don't recognise any of the levels, though these may just be from the PS1 version, but I noticed at the very end of the commercial there is something lying on the log with Rayman.
What is that thing? It looks like a shotgun shell with detached limbs like Rayman's...

An old meme identified it with one "Tomato Taco"…

It's because it's the first trailer of 3D Rayman 2, it's a really early footage. You can see black bars (which means level was unfinished) in some footages

I always thought it was a battery. It could be a removed character or a extremely early version of Globox. Or maybe a scrapped enemy. I wonder what it is?

Most likely not an enemy considering the setting in the trailer, so probably a companion like Globox.

It's the 2D-to-3D cannon he was shot through.

It seems like a cut enemy, we can see an old concept art that Rayman's Facebook shared:

Oh? That makes sense then. From here it looks like a nibbed pen.
