That's a shame, since the Virtual Jaguar emulator is shit.
(I suppose understandably, because, after all, it is an emulator for the Atari Jaguar.)
There’s a solution: buy a real Jaguar

Yes because it is such a great system...not.

Why wouldn't I want to buy such an awesome console?

Perfect video explaining Jaguar. I am glad they mentioned Rayman

I can fully play Rayman 1 in Virtual Jaguar without any anomaly. And I honestly am ok by having a workable emulator rather than a super rare console just to play one game.

There are actually a lot of sound bugs in the emulator, which are also shown in the playthrough you recorded.
@emshomar Don't expect the controls to be any better on a real Jaguar. Also, it's much better to use a gamepad than a keyboard with the emulator; it prevents certain issues from occuring, such as the L/R conflict with the D-Pad.

oh god. Why would anyone want to play the Jaguar version if the controlls are that fucked up? I'd recommand everybody the PlayStation or Saturn version instead.

Due to curiosity lol. But you're right that the PlayStation and Saturn versions are much better.

Whenever I've played with a real Jaguar at Eurogamer expo (though they mostly choose either Wolfenstein or Tempest 2000 to play with) I didn't exactly think much of the controls so I hate to imagine what playing Rayman is like on it.

Even without the Jaguar controller, it still sucks. I've tried playing on emulator with a DS3 controller. *sigh* The experience was... hgggrrrrrhhhh...

Thank god they decided to port Rayman 1 and not keep it Jaguar Exclusive or else R1 would be only game in series and he would end up being forgotten today sadly.
