No, and given their ephemeral nature, it's probably just as well. After all, in many cases the quote tag and a bit of copypasta do the job just fine!

Yes, I usually find that a quote and a link do the trick just fine!

I think I had the Twitter short videos in mind, since there are a lot of funny videos there, it would be really convenient to be able to display them in the forum like the ones from YouTube.

That's a good point, we have no way to embed those. Maybe downloading them as GIFs and posting the image directly could help for now?

I'm not sure if this is the place for a post like this but I hopped on today and saw a mess of code at the top of the homepage. I think it's coding for a banner if I remember right...

I think it's because you're using the old layout. It probably isn't as maintained but will probably be fixed soon if it isn't now.

It's fixed, phew. The site was down last night so I figure that was one of the things fixed.

I'm getting the following code at the top when I visit the home page (with both themes):

Guys, it looks broken at the top of the normal theme and at least twice when the page was loaded, at first it showed a white screen with some text, but redirected to this. Also, RayWiki is not doing well, at all. I hope this could be fixed. So much work has gone into it.

What did the new update entail?

Apologies guys, what basically happened is that I started a big update on Thursday night thinking it would be quick and easy but I ran into a bunch of unexpected incompatibility issues and couldn't finish by the time I had to leave for a party (I was pretty late already). That's why the forum was down until I was able to fix it yesterday. Then I had to drive to my home town for another party last night, meaning I didn't have time to fix the wiki. I was able to bring it back up just now, but there are minor visual issues and some features are still disabled (you can't log in for now). I have to go help my grandparents with a wood delivery now, and I have another party tonight, so please bear with me while I fix those issues one by one! The error messages on the portal should be gone, by the way.

Thanks for the update Hunch. You are very busy it seems. Hopefully, we'll get it back to normal soon. What was the update for?

Also, the portal and Wiki are looking better. We need the old links back on the side of RayWiki and stuff needs to be fixed but I guess we'll get there.

Anyway, things should mostly be back to normal now. I should be able to fix single sign-on on the wiki today, and after that it should only be graphical hiccups left. Unfortunately, those might take longer to take care of, so, if anyone is willing to help with the wiki's CSS, please let me know! Every MediaWiki upgrade changes the markup a little bit and I never find the time to update our monstrous stylesheet to reflect that...

If I knew how to edit CSS I would help.
