They lasted a little longer than that, you can read more about it here. But they were already a huge mess by August 2023, that's why a lot of people left.
Funfact: I made the exact same typo (down to the month) on my blog earlier this year

the Lums Race referred to, if I remember correctly, the whole "Lums" system where you could earn the virtual currency and spend it on various goodies, and which partly inspired our Tings system.
Yeah, in the game it's called "Lums Race", but by the time it was released they had renamed it to "Lums Quest" on the actual website. Just to keep things nice and confusing

Thanks for pointing it out, it's fixed now. Funny how our brains our wired to default to the most recent years because we've been writing about them so much.

Good point, it was actually the Lums Quest on the website, not the Lums Race. Inconsistency is a staple of the series after all.
Exactly, there was no backup and everything was lost. That, or they could not be bothered to import it to the other forum system that powered the main Ubi forums and where they decided to move RaymanZone after the hack. Regardless, it started out completely empty after several months of downtime, so you can imagine people's disappointment.
I just checked, there isn’t any kind of topics on website building, i only found where people requested to help with their own websites. (and they’re like, 17 years or something )
So, i’m pretty sure you can create a new topic

I’d be pretty mad if all RPC posts were lost, too
I bet! A lot of users did not join or participate much in the new RZ because of that, but there were some die-hard members who I suppose didn't care about it so much and stayed anyway. That kept the place going for a bit, but only for so long.
Yeah, I would rather ignore than get myself overthinking.. i know i could just click "Read all" Button, but i forget that it exists sometimes and end up reading treads i dont want to read..
