Yeah, thus my "lol" but then I pointed out that it's technically not Uranus[/spoiler], nor does it resemble it. But I got a jolly good laugh, so props to Sirgeo.Bionichute wrote:He flew into the pig constellation's ass. That's not really subtle at all.Rulez wrote:lol but nosergiomonty wrote: (Spoiler:He was sent directly to... come on, we all know its Uranus, even Ubisoft couldn't avoid that pun.)
Please could you take a screenshot of it ? I don't want to watch the video.sergiomonty wrote:Hm, that doesn't seem to be the ending of the game at all. It looks like ONE of the many endings per world. If I remember, ubisoft once said that every world would tell a different story. Why can I ensure this? well...
1.This ending is overly simple. Even more simple than Rayman Origins. If Origins left us confused, this is even worse.
2.Mecha Dragon can't be a name for a final level. Heck, I remember the last level in Rayman Origins was called "The Reveal".
3.For some sort of rule of gaming, a water level can't be a final level.
But hey, at least the Magician got the most humiliating punishment you'll ever see. (Spoiler:He was sent directly to... come on, we all know its Uranus, even Ubisoft couldn't avoid that pun.)
Also, we finally know how Rayman's planet looks!... sort of... well... the shape of the Glade of Dreams can be seen there. I can't still tell if the planet is entirely round or not, but it probably is...
.......sergiomonty wrote:Oh, now that I read... the level's called "A Madman's Creation"
... That sounds pretty much like a title for a final boss...
..
uh... this is awkward.
(BUT STILL....LOL URANUS.)
So do we actually even know what's going on in this game? I like the idea of having a separate story for each world, but that leaves us without a cool villain, and if The Magician is the main villain, what's he even doing? But anyway, I can see it being the final level, but it's still probably going to be it's own contained story, You know, unless a certain dark fellow is in the game.sergiomonty wrote:Oh, now that I read... the level's called "A Madman's Creation"

May I interrupt you? The Magician is a KICKASS villain. He makes giant robots, he can manipulate people, he has an army, he's got 2 secret bases, one in the air and the second one under water, he tamed a dragon, he does have a plan that isn't actually made just for "evilness" but for the improvement of a corrupted world. He's goofy, but you gotta accept he's a badass in every other aspect.Bionichute wrote: but that leaves us without a cool villain
Well said, and I agree.sergiomonty wrote: May I interrupt you? The Magician is a KICKASS villain. Hm, he does kinda deserve the humiliation. He's kinda a dick.sergiomonty wrote: Still feeling bad for the Magician... man, he just wanted a better world, maybe in a pretty maniac way, but... did he really deserve this humiliation?now he's being tortured in a place he can't leave... unless he can actually learn magic... but for now he's gone. In a fate even worse than death... a butt joke.

I wasn't saying that he was a bad villain, it's just that he isn't the main villain, and a main villain would be nice. Maybe there's a main villain each world? Will Rayman get to fight Hades in the Olympus world?sergiomonty wrote:May I interrupt you? The Magician is a KICKASS villain. Truly a fate worse than death.sergiomonty wrote:Still feeling bad for the Magician... man, he just wanted a better world, maybe in a pretty maniac way, but... did he really deserve this humiliation?now he's being tortured in a place he can't leave... unless he can actually learn magic... but for now he's gone. That's be epic, though I'm positive that's not a planet at all.GNineify wrote:[SPECULATION! Okay, so the Magician will take control of that... I guess it's a planet he landed on and then he attempts to drop it on the Glade of Dreams and blow shit up and then Rayman and his buddies take another planet and then they have an epic battle. With the freaking planets.]
also, that just got me thinking what you said about it being the end of origins. EVERY WORLD COULD HAVE A RETURNING BOSS! THE MEDIEVAL WORLD COULD HAVE RAZORBEARD! although it sounds ridiculous i know, but at the beginning of castle rock, on the side of that wall is a flag hanging of, with a familiar face on it... (possibly!) also, i know this seems pretty obvious, yet i wasn't ready to accept the possibility until now. what i'm talking about is the paintings. at first they were supposed to be worlds inside them, but apparently, they only teleport you to different locations! i'm not 100% positive, but by seeing that world, it seems like you will be taken to different places around the world shown. so i guess the paintings act more as PORTALS then anything else...sergiomonty wrote:May I interrupt you? Wait... fourth world?...
Oh yeah! that means every level does tell a story! and the fourth story seems to be the ending of Rayman Origins! that's sweet!
