< is thinking about getting an HD-DVD player...< does not use an HDTV, though < knows that soon enough standard DVDs will be obsolete.

< Wants a HDTV

< doesn't care about the new TV technologies and all this HD stuff, though < wants a new player (HD-DVD) so < can watch movies just coming out in higher resolution whenever I decide I have to get an HDTV and when DVDs become obsolete. (And in my opinion, HD-DVD has a better library of movies right now and isn't near as expensive as that Blu-Ray...)
