It kind of is, since I had expected it to be a revamped experience. It was basically just upscaled textures, having them switch the buttons, and also making it so the score keeps going after 100k. The issue with that is how the scores can't be submitted to the Hall of Fame because of it.

Not to mention, compared to the og versions, it has performance issues on ps3
And removes the intro (UGH)
And i think some cutscenes got desynced

Yeah, it even had the issue with the water looking like someone took LSD or something on PS3.

Oh yeah I think I see what you mean, the over-exposure and stuff. In a way, a fanmade upscaling of the game would be a lot better than Rayman 3 HD, especially when you consider how the PC version already basically looks better by default.

Better Rayman 3 >= Rayman 3 > Rayman 3HD. It seems anyway from what I hear.

Menus don't have issues with a controller using xinput. The cutscene sync was always off also, but like you mentioned before, they seemed a lot closer when played at 50Hz.
There are many reasons I don't prefer HD though, the sound looping being really off is another example.

Sound looping?
Huh never had an issue there

Not exactly that it unintentionally loops, more that the samples have gaps in them, and you can hear it when they either loop or move on to the next sample. It's very noticeable on the Teensie Highway music, and also the sound when Celoche is firing the laser for example. The music sounds like it's skipping, and the sound of the laser should be continuous without breaks. That's just a couple of examples though.

There's a possibility it might not happen on PS3, since I've only played it on Xbox. I'm not entirely sure though, but on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it was really noticeable to me.

The third Teensie doctor is known by many names, "Garatta Ciatik" came from the Rayman 3 Press Kit, "Art Rytus" is supposed to be from the RZ website, however does anyone remember the source for the names "Gonzo" and "Anna Lyse"?

I’ve heard of Gonzo and I’ve seen the name “Art Rhytus” on the wiki but otherwise i wouldn’t know where to find those sources.
Come to think of it, does the game ever mention his name at any point in time? I haven’t played in awhile but something tells me it doesn’t.

His name is not mentioned in the game.
For the other two, "Otto" and "Roméo" are both used in both the English and French versions, despite the existence of other supposedly-official English names.
