I don't get it. Are you saying upper class people don't get unwanted pregnancies?

Unless those are ignorant.

Middle/upperclass people are statistically less likely to fall pregnant at 15 years of age.

Not really.

Time for some srs, I honestly can't help but feel that waaay too many women are having babies in such a short space of time. Sure we need a reasonable birth rate to balance with the mortality rate but I'm talking about people who like, already have 5 kids and are having yet another within less than 9 months of having the last. Babypoppers, compulsive childbirth, women having children just to get benefits, you get the idea.

Eh, I'm not too sure. I know one family who has a child in every single year in school, but then again in the past it was the norm for families to have 6 kids and so on which is certainly not the case anymore. You can't blame them, they didn't have TVs.

And by people being on a higher social rank doesn't mean that less people get pregnant, because there are still ignorant people or people with insufficient information.

Admittedly my grandparents came from huge families of up to 10 children but that was because there was no contraception in those days. All people want is sex sex sex sex sex and more sex and if they can't handle the consequences - unwanted pregnancies, STDs etc, it's their problem and that's when contraception comes in.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in the grey area when it comes to whether or not I want kids, but I don't want so many within less than 10 years that the oldest would have to sleep somewhere other than a bedroom each night.

I'm undecided on the matter. Although not having kids saves an awful lot of dough.

Ha, then you should come here. Half the people in my class smoke, and we all drink. :fou:

True; the working-class/disadvantaged/knackers/scumbags/chavs/skobes are sadly more likely to reproduce at a young age.

~The question of whether or not I will ever have children is relatively irrelevant to me, as I am male, and therefore hardly need to be involved in the process.

They're alternative words for scumbags. Perhaps they're specific to Ireland, though. I expect Plum will have heard them.

I know scaff and skint are words used here to describe people who are poor and dirty, and ned instead of chav...

I don't think Katie Price and that other woman with the yellow tee did very well in that trial in I'm a celeb.
I can't believe Katie ate the anus, then not the balls! I'd have thought it would be the other way around. And then the other woman making those noises while eating! Hilarious.
I think I would have freaked out with the fat yellow bug that they had to rip the head off and eat, because it was plain vile looking at it on the TV alone.

Katie being in it is the only reason why I'm watching it.
