Why does Rayman look so fucking pissed in the american box art of Rayman Revolution?

He looks like a serial killer.

Maybe it's like the thing with Kirby, he has to look angry in the American boxart.

He's pissed that he's being in a remake of a bad game.

With Kirby Triple Deluxe, he started looking angry even in Japan. Something that really disappointed me as I prefered happy Kirby a lot more.

Hmm, its sequel, Robobot has him give a cocky smile in both regions, if memory serves.

Yeah, but there is a difference between "cool"

and "I want to set an orphanage on fire"

Note the random Sanctuary of Stone and Fire motifs that are kicking in from the middle point. :D

I know this question comes out of nowhere, but has anyone else experienced strange bugs in the PC version of this game when played on Windows XP?

No, the game works flawlessly for me on Windows XP. ;)

It may depend on your graphic card.
Have you tried nGlide?
What sort of glitches do you have?
Original or GOG version?

Well recreating the bugs may be hard because I'm talking about like 6/8 years ago. I experienced strange bugs like Rayman's shot changing back to the normal one after you get the blue one in the fairy glade, thus not allowing me to grab on to the purple lum at the end. And the game entering turbo mode at the second part of the bayou (game running ape shit, barrels contantly dropping lag spikes every second).

It was pretty wierd.

Maybe too old drivers for graphic card.

I finally have a Playstation console, a PS3 to be exact. I'm gonna purchase Rayman Revolution to see if it's actually good. Will my opinions on Rayman 2 change if I play this version? Most likely not.

It is better to play it on PCSX2, PS3 version doesn't have HD.

I'm quite sure the PS3 version allows upscaling similar to other PS1/PS2-classics.
