< agrees with ^^^, Dark Daxter just goes against the lore established in the 3rd game. Also the gameplay sucked for him.

Indeed, < won't go into specifics here, but < knows what ^ refers to, heck, even if one discounts Jak 3's explanation, and you just took into account Jak 1, it'd still be shaky for Dark Daxter to exist.
