Okay, well I guess I'll put mine here: https://www.youtube.com/NTGCartoons

I make cheap, retarded cartoons on it, along with YTP's and SFM's.

My YouTube channel recently reached 2000 Subscribers. Here is a special video ^ ^

I also gave shoutouts to:

COMPLETECONDITIONING, HarukaTavares , COOLPRO195, Rayfist, Adsolution, Master, Rulez, DingoPenta, Rabbidscool, AbdulTheArabicGuy, oas515, DingoCrash, Tundiam360, hoixsoft, DigitalMasterpieces, skater24481, TheHippieHedgehog, 1737dima, TimeMaster232, MrModez, Jerimiahisaiah

I hope all of the above channels get more subscribers and views for next year and I wish them all good luck.

Also, like I said in video, I will be doing Questions and Answers video, so I would appreciate it if you guys went: http://www.youtube.com/user/OldClassicGamer/about
there, and send me private message with question. When enough questions are collected, I will be doing answers video. I am asking for PM and not in comments because Google+ detects many comments on my videos as spam? :boon: and since I don't have Google+, I cannot review those comments and approve them or disapprove them so that is why PM is best method.

3000 Subs until the end of 2014? No I believe, it will be much higher. I am in believing things like that grows exponential not linear.

Happy Wheels is over done and very much dead at this point anyway.

Why not try one of the original Rayman trilogy? Aren't too many people doing those.

What's important to note is that if you're just starting the last thing you want strangers to think is "Oh look, yet another noob playing <insert popular game for LPs here>" so you'd ideally want to go for something that's fairly uncommon. But at the same time this is your channel so you should just do one you like, which is why I suggested Rayman, not so much Origins or Legends since those two are more out there than the original 3 or heck even the side games from that generation.

true, but for the side games it easier to emulate them at this point :? just downloaded R3, finally going to get this game on the semi-go! probably going to do a acknowledgements/intro to my channel video first!
Edit: and its not loading. great. better go look into that.

Currently working on a Let's Play myself, my first one, and I just finished recording part 1. However, still have to record the commentary, the part I'm dreading the most for three reasons.

1. I talk extremely quietly, even with the microphone, volume, and such up all the way I still sound quiet. That, and attempting to talk louder is awkward for me.
2. I'm afraid I'll having nothing good to say in the commentary.
3. I'm socially anxious, so it's going to take some courage for me to let other people here my voice.

same here, but due to an increasing interest in being a voice actor (i'm taking a school course that could get me on our radio station!). It comes down to this really, do what makes you happy, if it gets some negetive feedback, reflect. were they just trolling you? were you just to quiet? it helps me to start the first line i'm about to say a dozen time before I record something, or to hang out with friends to lighten the mood. I've even recorded elvis sing VIva Las Vegas, and me speaking utter gibberish! once the bubble is broken it gets a lot easier talking, trust me! :D

Usually, the commentary is just done when the video is being recorded. It's not recorded afterward.

I know, that would be real-time, but I want to start on it afterwards since it would give me time to think of what to say.

The point of an LP is that you can't figure out what to say. :P

Well, pretty much, it is meant to be a real-time thing with real-time gameplay and commentary, but there can be exceptions. For example, someone creating commentary afterwards if messing up before (NintendoCapriSun did that once since he forgot to record when he was talking) or my situation could be an excuse, but you're right. :P

I get what DLL is saying. I always cringe when I use some poorly made LP as a walktrough. I actually remember one from Rayman 2 where the commentator kept going "uhhhh, uhhhhhh.... not sure what to say. This is the cave of bad dreams, yeah, lots of platforming here uhhhhh... that's pretty much it yeah... uhhh".

I don't think a first-time playthrough or anything with commentary ought to be labelled as a walkthrough. Walkthroughs are designed to help a player get through a tricky part, or let them simply watch a game like a movie, whereas Let's Plays are meant to entertain and amuse. There is a big distinction between the two. See the channel MahaloVideoGames as an example of a bad walkthrough-maker, and Mike Bettencourt as an example of a good walkthrough-maker.

Once you conquer these 3, you get yourself a fine channel and great audience. You can compare a crap Let's Play I made back in 2011 or 2012 and my newer one (although I will be removing the older ones because they are freaking horrible)
