I'd said retsupurae. I'm not onto Let's Play usually, but their comments on the games they are playing (or watching) are hilarious! Probably because most of the time it is related to the game itself.
I discovered Shadow of Destiny thanks to their excellent commentary (“Ow, my back”), and I'm currently enjoying their attempt to finish Sonic 06 (“Sonic 06 makes Sonic Boom look like Sonic 06”) and Afterfall: Insanity (as they call it, a Fire-Axe% run).

One of my favourites is BrickBuilder.

I've been really into Vinesauce the past year, they've taken over as my go-to "watching other people play games" channels since Game Grumps has kinda gone down the shitter for me personally. I like the contrast of Vinny being perfectly laid back and never overreacting while Joel is a total memelord.

To be honest, I've not really been following mainstream LPers lately, I got tired of Grumps ages back, and I don't really follow any other big names. At present, I've simply continued following SGB Plays and BrainScratchComms, and even so, it's only select games, not the whole lot. Ever since I got back into RuneScape (heh, funny how things change), I've been watching RS machinima, I've subscribed to one such fella, RSWillMissIt. I don't really watch gameplay vids of RS though.

As for other YouTube stuff, I've been feeling a little ehh about JonTron. I do still really enjoy his content, but ever since he's switched to using a set as opposed to his own living space, it's just not felt quite so natural. Caddicarus has done very well, and it's a pity he only just hit 500k, before YouTube decided to do a sub purge. But either ways, his content is as good as ever, and I always look forward to seeing new eps of his in my sub box. I recently also discovered The Completionist, who I've now subscribed to. Still subbed to PBG, and still enjoying his content, nothing new there to be honest.

Yeah I kinda tuned out JonTron when he made that move too. The whole thing just feels a little too polished, like it's too carefully written now or something. I think Jons always been better at live comedy, a lot of his scripted stuff always strikes me as being more enjoyable to create than watch.

I've also been catching up on a lot of Cinemassacare stuff the past couple months, James seems to be outliving the Nerd character perfectly fine and it's kind of amazing that a decade in the content is still on par with everybody else on YouTube, if not better than it was during AVGN's prime.

Yeah Vinesause are great, I've been really enjoying mainly Vinny Joel and Rev. Jontron did get old but his videos are always well edited and polished. Weegee gaming is a pretty funny person and I like IHE's criticisms since they're so well edited and entertaining, and I never liked that much the game grumps.
but yeah I don't have a favorite youtuber, there are too many to pick one from, its like picking what's your favorite game.

A lot of big name Youtubers since to disappear lately, some of them I truly enjoyed. In France one year ago we had Raptor Dissident-gate where several Youtubers ganged up on him for being fascist but he returned all their arguments against them and they haven't posted since. But in the US there hasn't been any news from JonTron in a while and AngryJoe seems to be stepping down.

Not to mention Boogie2988 who has reportedly been bullied at vidcon by Anita Sarkeesian and who has been looking quite anxious the the last two months. I Hate Everything is rarely uploading... It seems that an era has ended on Youtube.

Oh well, there's always A Dose of Buckley

There are so many youtubers that I like but I think out of all them,
Mrbean35000vr is my favourite youtuber. He is from the UK. He does mostly Mario kart wii videos. But that is not all. He even made a huge update and MOD of Mario kart wii. Called Mario kart wii ctgp revolution where tracks are made by different players and not tracks that are originally found in the normal Mario kart wii. Customized tracks, and even the items in the item boxes are modded by him.There are new modes in it as well. Even though the Nintendo server shut down. He created a new server for it called "Wiimfi".It is awesome for a modded game. Mrbean35000vr even did a 16 hour live stream of playing that game. because of a modded mode that made him play for that long. It is still uploaded on YouTube if anyone wants to see it. He's legendary.

He has discussed stepping down following the backlash of his latest announcement.

I started watching RedLetterMedia a couple months back and they've instantly elevated to my favourite YrungTube content, it's like Nostalgia Critic for adults. Meaning, the skits are actually funny and the criticisms are much more sophisticated.

Boogie is the most incompetent person I've ever seen, I hope now that he's actually slimming down it gives him sort of confidence boost or new outlook because it's literally pity: the channel. He's so extremely insecure about his opinions on anything he'll always buckle even to total bullshit and apologise for things he doesn't even do.

Any Boogie review or opinion is basically him going "So, personally I thought this video game wasn't that great but, if you guys liked it then that's perfectly fine and you're welcome to criticise me for not agreeing. If I see comments of people doing that I'll address them and come out and apologise for disagreeing, in fact even though I didn't really like it I'm first gonna address all the good parts, and here's this review that gave it a 10 out of 10 that I can't argue with, his points are all superior to mine, actually the game is perfect and I love it guys, it's the best game ever made. I'm really sorry for making this video, Boogie signing out."

I fucking love that he moved into being a sort-of movie channel now, his editing and writing got immensely better this year.
