I've only went once to a veggie sushi and it was as good as a normal sushi. It's just "different", that's all. No excuse to avoid sushi nowadays

I love trying new foods, and I try to get things I don't normally eat at home. I've had eel before, for instance. But yes, I do enjoy sushi but it's very rare I get to have any...

I’ve only had eel once by mistake when I wanted salmon aburi with fream cheese and I think it was eel aburi with cream cheese. Was pretty sweet for me.

I remember this inside joke came up in our server because of me, "you can't spell sushi without Ushi". Another user here might get that reference.

Whenever I hear talk of eating eel, I think of that scene in the Simpsons Hallowe'en show where the English Chief Wiggum eats eel pie
Unfortunately I can't find it on YouTube…

My granny on my dads side of the family actually liked eel. I understand why most people find them weird though.

My dad often catches them. I went fishing with him a lot of times but I never remember catching an eel specifically.

Fishing is good to have a little peace in his mind (and feel like Link) but sushi and all food with fish in it, I'm not the biggest fan (even with lemon or anything else on it)
