Re: Favourite soup
I like them too. I eat them with stir fry, in pasta or in an omelet. As soup, I’ve never tried.
Re: Favourite soup
I have them in similar things yeah, I think I had fried ones with fried onions a few times too.

Re: Favourite soup
I wish I could like regular white onions. Then maybe french onion soup could be delicious for me too, cuz it sounds delicious!
Re: Favourite soup
On the topic of favorite soups, mine has to be Goulash soup, nothing can beat that imo. Although meatsoup and cherry soup are also great.

Re: Favourite soup
Cherry soup sounds odd! Though I guess you can get chicken pie and cherry pie, so I suppose it's not that odd. I've never heard of a sweet soup though.
Re: Favourite soup
I wonder if it's legitimately cherries...

Re: Favourite soup
Yeah I'm curious. Maybe it's a kind of fish or a sweet soup or....
Re: Favourite soup
Yeah I never heard of it personally.
Re: Favourite soup
It is genuinely cherries. I suppose it would be odd hearing about a sweet soup if it isn't a tradition where you live, but in Hungary it is so I got weirded out for a sec at you getting weirded out

Which I'm guessing is like cherry soup? There must be quite the fruit soups there!
Re: Favourite soup
It probably is nice, I just hadn't heard of it.

Re: Favourite soup
Pumpkin/butternut, cream of mushroom. Cream of tomato is fine too. Past few months haven't been quite soup weather but I did have this powdered mushroom one that I bought loads of for cheap before lockdown.

Re: Favourite soup
I've had tomato, butternut squash, ramen, pho, miso, and chicken noodle soup. Oh and sinigang and miso too. My mom loves soup so much that whenever she chooses a place to go out it's a soup place.
Re: Favourite soup
I have tried a lot of the basic ones, even ones with croutons etc.

Re: Favourite soup
Croutons are delicious even on salad.
