If you wonder how Rayman can fly with this cap: this is a magical cap wich has the ability not to collide with his hair. Simply the very best of technology inside one fan-game. Runs on most computers though.

Hey, i'll try my best to release something by christmas, but the level won't be finished. Anyway a lot of new things have been added since the first beta release so I guess it'll be interesting to play though.

As today is my first holliday day, could not resist adding more christmas funky stuff :D Of course the player can disable/enable it by typing a code in the game console. It's disable by default.

And it's interesting to see how the game has evolved since its earlier state of development! Fist developed under the Blender Game Engine... But it became quickly too buggy so I switched to Unity. But i'm fighting bugs again since the latest Unity update... Hope they'll fix the repeated crashes :-/

Ok, thanks to the Unity team who fixed the particle bug i'm able to release a new version with all the fancy particles effects stuff :)

F1 Key to enable/disable the console. Enter to submit.
Commands:
santa_cap : enable/disable santa cap easter egg!
snow: it's snowing, yeah!
teleport: teleport rayman to a specific position number in the map. E.g: "teleport 0", "teleport 1"...
kill_enemies: kill every enemies
init: reset the game
lums_cage: one more electoon cage
time_scale: speed up or slow down the game by setting the time scale with a number. E.g: "time_scale 0.5" is half of the normal speed.
invincible: Alright. You're invincible now.
fps: enable or disable the frame per second counter in the top left area.



/!\ISSUES/!\

-Avoid changing the texture quality in the option menu because it may lead to random glitches depending on your hardware (textures are messed up and menu buttons may be unusable! If this happens, delete the "save.xml" file in the "rayman_Data" directory. The graphic preferences will be reset to default).

-There are some lighting glitches when testing on my win 7 64 bits laptop. I have no idea why this happens. :roll: On my win 7 64bits desktop it's fine.

-In spite of a lot of code rewrite, the camera system is not as good as Rayman 2 or 3. I'm still trying to figure out how to make it better, it turns out to be quite complex to code. As a workaround, you can switch between 3 modes in the Game Options: Semi-Auto, Free, Full Control. Read the tooltips in game for more informations.

-I've experienced some random rayman's animation freeze i can hardly reproduce so it's quite hard to fix, please report it if this happens and explain what happened.
I don't know if my code is buggy or the Unity engine itself (I admit the former is more problable).

-If you find bugs or something broken... please report it, I will try to fix it.

I see when someone set-up graphics settings it malfuntions a little bit and camera rotating in only one direction.If only Jazz Jackrabbit 3 or MOTHER 3:The Fall of Pig King could exist as betas.It's just what if?

Gamerz31w, seriously I don't get the meaning of your message. Is this supposed te be random humor? The tings, then "new update", and eventually I don't understand a thing of your last message. :mefiant: The camera rotates both left and right, and you can use "full control" mode to rotate up and down with the mouse. If you get graphic glitches, be more specific. I have no magic power to guess what happened when "someone" tweaked the graphic quality.
