Re: Music - Sound Modules and Sample CDs used in Rayman games
Someone who contributed to the VGM Sound Sources spreadsheet found something really cool, I don't know who did, but appearantly the SampleCell library (SampleCell was a board for Macintosh computers I believe, that allowed your Mac to basically be a studio-grade sampler back in the 90s), contains some Rayman 1 sounds: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 2047725819
I've already found the trumpet slide from the first Candy Chateau level at 0:03 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvOiKx_86f0&t=2s and my findings on the drum sounds coming from the Akai Factory CD appear to have been incorrect. The drums originate from this SampleCell library instead!

So I know which sample pack the drumloop for the Grolgoth is used, but I don't know which sample/loop # it is. Or were they crafted themselves by using the different samples?

Welp, here are samples that sound familiar to the snare in the Grolgoth theme.
1. 48 SNARE
2. 54 SNARE 1
That's all, sorry if there's not too much.
