Oh, it looks like that Rayman is getting an interesting update in Brawlhalla next September!

Ooh, looks exciting! I haven’t played Brawlhalla yet, but the content still looks cool. I’m glad they’re bringing back the dragon they scrapped from the first Rayman event (maybe they’ll give us its proper name here), and I honestly didn’t expect to see the scrapped Fire Lums from Origins return! I can only hope they have a good explanation for how Rayman went Super Saiyan Blue with the Heavy Metal Fist, though…

Good to see Ubisoft putting in at least some effort to celebrate Rayman’s 30th anniversary.

Definitely looks like a great update. I’ll think about downloading the game to check it out.

This looks really nice! I love all the throwbacks to the older games, like how Murfy brings out and reads the manual in the trailer!

The guitar is from promotional art for Rayman Legends; it also appears in one of Rayman's idle animations in Rayman in the Phantom Show, but the one he uses here is more closely based on the one from Legends. Of course, that one didn't have blue flames around it...

Super Metal Rayman, eh? I don’t know about the blue hair but I like the Heavy Metal Fist from Rayman 3.

Why the fuck do emojis need skins??

The same reason why custom discord emotes exist, I suppose.

I dunno Emoji's without skin could be rather horrifying, imagine having all the underlying sinew and flesh being visible.

If someone made a skinless skin for emojis, would that still be a skin?

Well, it’d be a skin in the sense that it was different to the emoji, but it also wouldn’t be a different thing covering its organs, so I think Skinless Skin is the best way to put it.

I like that Murfy reads the manual. Unfortunately all of this will be behind a paywall, plus the game is not fun.

From what I’ve seen, it’s just a worse version of smash. (Which isn’t that fun either.)

It's not the type of game I'm interested in either, but I think they did a decent job of basing this new content on proper references from earlier titles in the series.

I spent way too much time in Brawlhalla (about 270 hours by now) but mostly because of friends irl who also play the game. I tried to get into playing with Rayman but he's pretty much one of my worst characters unfortunately.

All I can think of when this game is brought up is that in this alternative universe Rayman is in love with master chief for… some reason?

Personally, I don't care whether Rayman is in either or not and I definitely do not want him in Smash. Nuh uh. Absolutely not.
