No way. Celoche popped into my head first - he was destroyed by his own missiles and left to rot underwater. Reflux was shattered. Biditank was destroyed (actually the pirate inside was when in the Prison Ship). The Grolgoth was burned in lava, then blown up with the prison ship... Come on, there's many examples.spiraldoor wrote:BACKONTOPIC!
Any of the R1, R2 and R3 bosses could return; not one of them died. Every single one survived.

They're magical guardians though, they could easily be summoned again by Polokus.

And robots such as Biditank and Celche could easily be rebuilt.
But some did indeed die, although the R1 bosses are exceptions.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
Reflux merged himself with the Leptys before he died. The Leptys is a god. Gods are immortal. Therefore, Reflux is now merged with the Leptys, wherever the Leptys is, and he could return if somebody else invokes the Leptys.
And all the mechanical enemies that were damaged could be repaired. The few that were destroyed could be rebuilt.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
Reflux just got a lot of power from the Leptys, but we can't really say he merged with him

One power that gods have is their immortality. If Reflux got the Leptys's powers, the immortality may have come with that.

Sorry spiral, but i don't think Reflux made it...
And sorry Hunch, but it's the same thing with Axel and Foutch.

Actually, I think Hunch's point is valid; Polokus created them, so he could easily just recreate them again.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
Not really. He could perhaps create some new guardians, but i doubt he could recreate the old ones. And even if he did, they would still just be maniacs, that would be too much out of control the guard the sanctuaries.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
There was nothing wrong with Axel, as far as he knew Rayman was a lying villain. But foutch was just crazy, he didn't even believe the Teensies.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
We don't know for sure if Axel and Foutch died. All that happened was that they sort of...faded into the air...not very conclusive, IMO.

There's only one valid point of view: Polokus can do anything

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
In Revolution, the stactite goes directly through Axel's head, doing no visible damage, and then Axel fades into the air while releasing a purple lum.
In Revolution, pretty much the same thing happens to Foutch.
Methinks they both live on.

Re: Old bosses in Rayman4?
Ahhh.... and what would you say about Mr. Dark and his famous merging abilities? Imagine it - Grolgoth mixed with Moskito, Reflux - with Foutch, Axel - with Begoniax...
