n. gin (crash team racing, crash nitro kart, crash tag team racing, but in his coolest appearances, you don't control him)

metal head (guitar hero 3 - it's a guitar playing robot who began life as a russian warhead! what could be cooler?)

i actually don't like that, you have to be looking at them, i'd rather if it just fired shitloads of missiles like the original. although the ryno2 was cool. machinegun rockets!

Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It is so great in my opinion (I played it on somebody's emulator), that it itself erases problem called Sonic Heroes. And Sonic 2 erases Spinballs, 3D Blasts etc.

Anyway, Icy Tower with Harold is really cool - especially, if you put Drunken Mode on.

OK, here's my go at a list. Don't hate me, R4, but I like Sonic a little bit too. Prince of Persia, Rayman

10. Sonic - I love the speed! (I agree, Heroes sucked. About 20 minutes of enjoyment.)
9. Raz (Psychonauts) - Who doesn't love to jump into other people's brains.
8. Jade (Beyond Good and Evil) - I got a kick out of the journalism aspect of the game, plus, Jade has some great combat moves.
7. Mario - He's not THAT cool, but he's a classic.
6. Link - Again, another classic, but with awesome fighting moves.
5. Lara Croft - The female Prince of Persia! Plus, she's hot. lol.
4. Sam Fisher - The Splinter Cell games are some of my favourites. The whole stealth thing is intense!
3. Assassin (Assassin's Creed) - I don't remember the guy's name, but the stuff he can do is insane! Still don't like him as much as the final two, though...
2. Rayman!!!!! - We all know why we love him!!!
1. Prince of Persia!!!!! - Many of you may not think he should be rated that highly, but it's overall my favourite game series, therefore, I should rank the Prince at #1!!! WOOT!!!!!

just because it is your favourite series, doesn't necessarily mean he should be ranked number 1, it's possible that there are cooler characters but whose games aren't that special.

NEW LIST! I changed my mind a bit:



10. Conker. He seems so kiddy, but he's not.

9. Samus Aran. Never played Metroid games, but she still seems cool.

8. Carl Johnson. I've played different GTA games, but no other main character in the series has as much personality as CJ. And he knows how to drive like a maniac. But he's actually an asshole, so i placed him at number 8.

7. Lara Croft. Knows a lot of cool stunts, and acts very cool.

6. Jak. I've played a little Jak 2, but that's enough to add him. Cool stunts. Cool style.

5. Wario. He has a motorbike, he has a castle and he beats the crap out of his enemies. And at the top, he can attack by farting.

4. Jade. She rules. She got that humoristic sense, and the "don't mess with me" attitude. She also knows lots of cool attacks and stunts.

3. Stranger. Do NOT mess with the Big, Badass Bounty Hunter.

2. Yoshimutsu. He is the coolest Tekken character i know. A mysterious skeleton-cyber-ninja with amazing powers. Every time i play a Tekken game, i use him as my favourite. A Tekken game without Yoshimitsu, is not a REAL Tekken game.

1. Ra...Ra..Ra..RAYMAN! One of the many reasons i'm a huge fan. Incredible powers, cool dancing skills and awesome personality. He is clever, tought and relaxed at the same time. AND he got millions of fangirls. Now THAT'S something that can place him as number 1!
