What the hell? Of course you ride Bzzit, it wouldn't make sense if it was Moskito. Who can seriously think he would make friends with Rayman and then attack him again? Moreover, the colours in the PS version make it impossible.

PC, GBA - every mosquito is pink.

Jaguar - Mosquitoe in Anguish Lagoon (Angus/Bziit) is pink, but one in Moskto's Nest (Moskito) is brown.

PS1 - Moskito is brown when you fight him, but pink when he chase you.
WHY?!
Theory 1. The casing one was Angus/Bziit.
FALSE. It would be making no sense. Enemy, after beating became a true friend (he could put Rayman into water or spikes), AND THEN BECAME AN ENEMY WITHOUT REASON?!
Theory 2. Moskito landed in mud.

Theory 3. This was palette limitation of PS1.
I think it can be true. PS1 was focusing on 3D, and it 2D power was smaller than Saturn's or Jaguar's.
Theory 4. It was error of porters.
It definitely can be true. Best example is that chasing mosquitoe stays in place when you reach end of level. On Jaguar, it flies up. On GBA, it still chases you, so you have to touch fast. I'm not sure how does it work on PC.

I've just played Moskito's Nest again, and yeah, the one chasing Rayman is pink in the PlayStation version It's getting really confusing then It's either an error, or yet another mosquito

The one chasing Rayman in the PS1 version appears to be Bzzit...but if you look at his eyes...it looks almost like he's...crying?

It's just sweat drops, the fruit is huge after all.

He looks as though he's being forced to carry the giant spike fruit.

And he has sad eyes.

Then again, when Moskito is carrying the giant fruit in you final fight with him, he looks pretty much the same.

I'm pretty sure that you fight Moskito both times. I think that they just changed the colour for something different. And even if the mosquiteo in Anguish Lagoon is not the same as the one in Mos Kito's nest, there is no proof that either of them are Bzzit. NONE! No reference to that name in R1, no reference to R1 in Revolution and Bzzit and mos Kito look completely different.

Palette, people. Do you know what the palette is? If no... There is LIMITED NUMBER OF COLOURS SIMULTANOUSLY ON SCREEN on some consoles.

I am 100% sure Moskito is always brown on Jaguar.

Just doesn't make sense. He can't make friends with Rayman and attack him again, and then probably make friends with him again in Rayman Revolution (because I doubt Rayman knows fifty mosquitoes).
What makes most people think that the mosquito in Anguish Lagoon is Bzzit is that he's his only mosquito friend. That seemed pretty clear to me.
Anyway, that problem with the colours in the PlayStation version makes it confusing

That's what I thought, there's no such mistake in the Jaguar version.

The Moskito entry on RayWiki has a picture of the pink Moskito carrying the fruit, so that picture should be removed, as it's rather confusing.

And wouldn't it be awesome if Rayman was riding the pink Moskito and Dark Rayman was riding the purple Moskito? Just a thought.

Paragraph 1. Bad idea. I'll download my screenshot, but remember, pink mosquitoe with fruit appears in PS version AND in PC&GBA (there, however, every mosquitoe was pink).

This could be done quite easily with the palettes

I think you should replace the screenshot of pink Moskito from the PC with a screenshot of purple Moskito from Jaguar, if possible.
