Very good rip of the Rayman 1 world map. And the SFX are good as well. Can't wait to see what you'll rip next.

Whenever I manage to get the images out of the files and not out of the memory. They'd be way better if I'd get them from the files...

...anyways, Drolpiraat, did you manage to rip the full R1 world map, including the bottom right corner?

what program do you use to rip VRAM, Droolie?
For PC Games you can use Cheat Engine (DirectX Mess). As far as PlayStation 1 games go i think you can rip the video memory with the emulator program :wink:.

WOW!! Those are really good rips!! Just a question about the world map that you posted on the first page Drolpiraat. Why is there a giant present in the air just under the top left corner? On every other map I've seen, there isn't a present. Is it actually meant to be there?

Yes, it's meant to be there. Surprisingly enough, this was the original map ( they erased the present later on all maps except the PSOne map ), which can be seen in the Rayman 1 Beta I am playing :P

I had two files, one was *.sa1 and one was *.sg1. I wasn't sure which one was the save state, but I uploaded the *.sa1, and here it is:
